@Mechie: they are $250 as the base price (it goes up for taller poles) and there is a $25 shipping fee.

My friend is in the advertising video for pole sleeves and she said they are amazing. I'm purchasing one soon.

I'm 5'5 and about 160 lbs (I don't think thats considered plus size but I'm a curvy girl with meat on the bones). I used to be 175 but pole helped me drop it and now I'm doing all sorts of tricks that I used to think I would never get. All you need is dedication and a positive attitude and you can do anything you put your mind to :). I went from not being able to climb or invert in my first class to walking on the ceiling over a year and a few months.

The studio I go to in orange county teaches barefoot as well but sometimes we will do a segment of class involving heels and when we have free dance time at the end sometimes girls will put heels on then

No prob 🙂 You can find some good deals on cragslist be sure to check that its an authentic xpole. To do this, check to see that there are two X's on the base in front of where the locking screws are and make sure the dome's ring is opaque. if they claim it is an xpert it should have joints to hold it together.

As far as I know, I dont think so. I have never seen any dealer sell brand new xpoles for less than the retail price because they already dont make that much money off them that way to begin with. Veena already gives us a huge discount by paying shipping for us which is why I bought my pole from her. if you want a new pole for less than retail I suggest finding someone who bought one and ended up deciding they didn't have much use for it or don't have room.

They seriously need to make it more affordable. I can't imagine that they sell much of it cuz it costs as much as the pole itself.

I really want one of those too!! I also want a grip tease sleeve.

You should only be doing intensive stretching two maybe three times a week and just regular maintenance stretching on the other days. like Runemist said, if you overdo it you can cause stiffness and tightness in the muscles.

@ hookedonpole: I'm in Davis so let me know if you plan something 😀
@Feed Stacy Tacos: if you ever want a pole buddy let me know, I'm fairly close to you and I've got the TG if you ever wanna try it.
