It doesn't have to be a full length song. I wasn't thinking longer than a minute or two.

I've poled on 50s and dont like them that much. I have a 45 at home and its so much better but I bet I would love a 38 or 40

it would make a great challenge!

I've seen ceiling walking and ceiling splits but I'm thinking a whole routine performed on the ceiling almost like it was being done rightside up

The only jewelry I wear when I pole is studs in my ears and my belly ring (the non dangling ones)

I love your workouts Taryn!! It might help if you explained how to do a few of the exercises as I don't know what the names mean or at least I don't think what I am interpreting them as is right

Becca, that is terrible that your boss said that to you! He/she can't get away with that. You are participating in a perfectly legal and healthy activity outside of work and they have no right to control you. I'd find another job and when its your last day, go tell your boss he can eff himself for being ignorant and rude. You could also threaten to sue for the way they treated you and give him a good scare

This is amazing!!! I love it!

I inverted during my third class but the only reason I could was because I threw myself into it which is not safe. It is only within the last couple months that I can smoothly lift myself into it. Take your time so that you don't injure yourself

I'm the clutziest most uncoordinated person on the planet. I went in totally out of shape and couldnt even climb the pole and now, one year later, I'm doing all sorts of crazy stuff. You just need to push past the first few classes. They are always the hardest strength wise. Everyone progresses at their own rate so there is no being "behind". If you can't find a studio near you that is better than those studios then you can just be a home poler. Lots of people do that.

i have a nuva ring so pole farts happen to me frequently, especially when I do straddle leg moves. I'll be going for the move and then I will feel the air and be like omg dont make noise and end up coming out of a move awkwardly to avoid them. Im probably switching birth control soon so lets hope the amount of pole farts goes down.

Your favs are the same as mine Veena! The gymnasts and divers inspire me to become stronger and more graceful. I used to be a compeitive swimmer but had to stop because of health problems so watching the swimming is always a little bitter sweet. I used to dream of being an olympic swimmer.
