I’m 22years old 5’2" 205lbs *disgusting* https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_surprised.gif , I’m big boned and the smallest I’ve been is 125lbs *anorexic and bulimic*. I managed to get down to 155lbs in 2005 but slowly but surely gained weight right back. I love to pole but find it very difficult sometimes being so heavy and trying to do certain moves that I see girls get in their 1st or 2nd wk of poling that I have been working on for years. I’ve always been the biggest when I took pole classes and dropped out of them after 2 years when I started to become depressed over my size and progress compared to others https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif (and lack of $$$ too).
My Goals:
* lose 70lbs and gain lean muscle https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_razz.gif
* lose fat and tone abs (upper, lower, and obliques), back, thighs, and arms
* stretch and/or yoga daily (even though I hate that my gut gets in the way *yuck*)
* pole 3-4x @ least 45mins-1hr each time
* get the chopper (from the floor and invert), shoulder mount, and the half bracket hold (like when you do a body wave)
* jog 1-2 miles with out stopping and try HIIT https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_bounce.gif
* eat less carbs, more protein, and drink more water
* plans meals/workouts weekly and stick to itI don’t want to be the fat friend anymore https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_redface.gif , I want to feel beautiful in my own skin https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cry.gif and look hot when I’m pole dancing instead of fat. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_confused.gif

I have a black lil mynx stationary pole, and the grip is great because of the powder coating but the only downside to the coating is the pole burn is worse. I’ve been on brass pole, the lil mynx colored pole, and the chrome xpole in both 50 and 45mm. As far as grip goes they basically go in that order as far as best to worse, stainless steel I’ve always been told is the worse. chrome xpole is slippery but manageable once you get used to it. As far as the lil mynx coming away from the ceiling I’ve never had that happen but I’ve never grabbed that part of the pole and my ceiling isn’t to much taller than 8" so it doesn’t show that much.

Aww poor pup I’ve accidentally done that to my dog too but he’s a solid 38lbs. So he usually moves an inch and I end up coming to a dead stop in the middle of my spin and falling over him. Hope your pup is alright, they are always so forgiving hehe https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif
