I’ve just taken another quick picture, and in it you’ll be able to see where (I’m pretty certain) the beam studs are sticking through the drywall. I placed my pole where the last arrow is.

Hopefully the pic makes sense 🙂 the arrow on the bottom left is where the gap would appear from xpole tightening, and the beam was parallel to the right side of the light.

I used to dance a lot as a kid, and because of that it´s given me the confidence to dance in front of lots of people. Obviously as a kid it was nerve-wracking, but now I’m not as shy. I used to do modern dance, tango, and flamenco. Flamenco was great, but there’s lots of turning involved which I was never really good at because I couldn’t spot very well.
