No kicking and like many people say in other posts… if you just started or are still new to pole you shouldn’t be inverting anyways! Kicking does make it easier but it doesn’t do anything for building up your strength which you will need later down the road.

Both the original and X-Pert X-Poles have two hex screws that need to be loosened to go into spin mode. Just be sure you are loosening the two for spin and not the other ones for pole "tightness". hehe

I totally agree!
With the comments show the latest one on top so that you don’t have to keep scrolling down. What if you have like 50 comments (I don’t… but what if?)

We are always paid for our suspicion by finding what we suspect. ~Henry David ThoreauI do my thing and you do yours. I am not in this world to live up to your expectations, and you are not in this world to live up to mine. You are you and I am I, and if by chance we find each other, then it is beautiful. If not, it can’t be helped. ~Frederick Perls
What we see depends mainly on what we look for. ~John Lubbock
It is like a finger pointing to the moon. Don’t concentrate on the finger, or you will miss all of that heavenly glory. ~Bruce Lee

I don’t want to get too into because I will… I have to hold back…. WE can’t divorce the sex industry from pole dance? Look who keeps bringing it up! We keep talking about feeling strong and having the best workout ever… I haven’t heard one girl yet say, "Oh I pole dance because I want to show my coochie to the WORLD! F me! F me! I don’t care about my body!"
I’m still so surprised that people are shocked by pole dance. It is not like 10 years ago when there were only a few studios or limited teachers. Pole dance is international! We have studios across the globe! That deserves some gosh-darn recognition that isn’t negative. *hmph*

You’ll feel like a ragdoll for a while… especially if you don’t already have a super strong core and upper-body. It took me a couple of months to feel like I wasn’t beating my body on the pole. lol
You will def. notice tight abs and a strong upper body. I have a bit of belly flab but it was umm, loose (hahah ewww) before and now it is like I got a tummy tuck. Tight and strong. My arms, well, I have a little Popeye bicep going on and carrying bags of groceries is a breeze!

Veena keeps pointing out that TG is more for advanced dancers and it has the grip of brass so Chrome was a great choice! I have always used a 50mm and I don’t think it is that huge of a diameter. And it is the standard size in most classes, studios, and clubs.

I have the same issue with sweaty palms and I just keep wiping. If you are only doing tricks or are using spin mode you might want to consider something like Tight Grip.

Awesome vid and def. a common question! Every new poler should see this!

Welcome to the group! We have a great group of people from all around the world and your English is very good! I was in CZ last year in the summer… we visited Basel and Zurich. It is actually pretty close to where I live in Mannheim, DEU. Happy poling!

For beginners it is a good idea to hold your foot as you learn to control those muscles. So grab the foot of the top/crossed leg with the arm that is on the same side. SQUUUUEEEEEEZZZZEEEE your thighs and calves and lean back all you want. I did that trick in one of my videos, it helps when you don’t have super strong poling muscles yet.

Oh yeah corkscrew is tough… I got the worst bruises from that move when I was learning it.

For me it was all about the top hand… I just kept it too high in the beginning. I learned that lowering my top arm closer to where my bent/top leg was made it easier. And I agree about not trying to get your head/top body close to the pole… extend out and "flat".
