Bwahahaha… the chicas and I used to make fun of that club all the time… just because we drove past it to go to school/lunch all the time. You know that place is so popular they bring people in by the BUS loads?! And of course it is just my luck that I started to get into pole dance once I moved out of RI. *sigh*

No you don’t have to be born into it! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif Lots and lots of us are new to it too and still teaching our bodies to be flexible. It just takes a lot of time (patience is a virtue) and commitment. And you should check out some of the YouTube pole dancing videos… there are some big sexy mamas (and papas) pole dancing and doing it well. It isn’t a matter of being skinny but how strong you are. just a question though: I thought Miss Poledance Australia was Bobbi not Felix?I actually have never seen Bobbi compete in any vids. Felix Cane definitely won Miss PD Australia in 2006 and then in 2008. Felix just won Miss PD World in 2009:

I have lots of fave clips and vids… oh gosh. I guess I’ll just name some of my fave dancers?
I love the ladies from Australia because they seem to be so smooth in their moves and transitions. So that would be Jamilla Deville, Bobbi, and Felix! And from the States Jenyne Butterfly and Alethea Austin are my faves. And I have like 500 pole dancing subscriptions on YouTube and sometimes watching "amateurs" is just as gratifying and inspirational. "BlyeSkye33" on YT is always posting dancing vids and I just love how much she gets into it. You get that feeling that it is "To pole or die" kind of thing for her.

Thanks for posting this. People always get ahead of themselves and figure that they are way stronger than they really are. Not even in just pole dancing but think about the common and silly mistakes people do all the time while working out at the gym or at work lifting heavy boxes. "Slow and steady wins the race" comes to mind or "In order for your work to be grounded in the Earth it needs to be done consistently for a long period of time with devotion."

I posted another vid of my first day practice. I am going to post yesterday’s practice soon.
Unfortunately my editing software is not very good at compressing my vids. I have Adobe Premiere so if anyone has any pointers?? I tried exporting my vid in different formats but it just didn’t work well enough. I am much more used to Final Cut Pro which is my favorite but I don’t have the money to buy it.

I got my pole yesterday… danced a few hours yesterday and today too. I have vid up on YouTube… just a few short clips from late last night. I have yet to post a vid from today.
