I’m going to agree with some of these ladies and say falling!! My pole is not very high so I have not been faced with that aspect, but I did have my first real fall the other day. I was trying the Marion Amber. I did it, (sorta) but was trying to work on perfecting it when I all the sudden lost my grip and fell on my face! I had the crash pad down, so I didn’t get hurt, but it was a little unnerving. I’m poling at home with no supervision which probably isn’t the smartest, but I can’t help myself. It’s just so fun!! Honestly, I probably don’t let it scare me as much as it should. I just keep things low and with a crash pad on the scary stuff and get back up and try again!!

Paradise chick have some great ones in the superhero series. I have these personally and love them. The grip is on the pants in spots if you will, so they are still flexible. I just saw that creatures of xix have some similar sticky leggings, but I have not tried them.

I have only been pole dancing for three, almost four months. I work, am married, and have two children so I have not taken the time to take any lessons. I simply put a pole in my basement and started playing on it. After a couple of weeks or so I bought veenas lessons and fell in love with pole dance. She is an amazing teacher. In under four months I can do several moves including the Ayesha, butterfly, extended butterfly to flatline Scorpio, aerial invert, shoulder mount, pencil mount to bow and arrow, broken pencil, brass monkey, car, etc, etc. Those are basically the moves I’m most proud of. I actually have a long list of moves I can do already and it’s all because of veena. Not only is the instruction great but the website is streamlined and easy to work with. Before I was just looking up random videos, but I was such a novice I did not even know what to look for. So yes, I would definitely recommend her lessons. It’s by far the best money I’ve spent in a long time.
