bought a bottle today…not only for the pole, but also for its many other alleged uses (cleaning, laundry, etc.). Will let you guys know how it works for grip!

Thank you. I guess I’m lazy.

I’ve only been poling a few months, so there is still plenty of time to gain confidence to share…I’m thinking I’ll become more open when I become more advanced, so I can blow all the skeptics away!

Are you able to afford physical therapy? It may help you heal faster and prevent you from injuring it again.
I pulled a muscle in my upper back (non pole related) and a professional massage helped (once the severe pain went away). Also curious about acupuncture. Sometimes rest simply isn’t enough.

I finally bought Veena's lessons the other night (Gold Membership), and I already love them. They give so much more motivation, and enable you to review again and again, at your own pace. They have also helped me backtrack on some learned moves to make sure I am doing them properly.
The best part if that you have access to ALL the levels – so if I am feeling brave, I can move onto an intermediate move – or at least see how a move is executed (and realize I am not ready whatsoever to attempt it!)

I took my pole apart, reassembled, and repositioned it. I no longer had the crazy bowing or cracking sound. However, I had to take my pole down again when my parents came to visit (heh), and when I put it back up, the cracking was back (though not as badly). When I readjusted again, it went away.
So it may just be an allignment issue – if the pole is too angled or the parts are not aligned properly, the joints may be rubbing in spin mode (that is what it sounds like and feels like, above the x-joint in the A pole)
It is really frustrating is you have an angled floor and/or ceiling – it seems like it takes me a while to set up my pole, since my floor and ceiling have a slope – finding that perfect allignment can be tough!
That is all I got for now – hang in there!

I am having the same issue with "bowing" and clicking/cracking. I have been using the pole for a little over a month and the issue just started. Everything seems to be functioning properly, so I am not sure whether the bowing and noises are actually an issue or the alignment is out of whack.
That said, I already undid the pole and realligned it with the ceiling, assuming something was off because of angle (my ceiling and floor are NOT even). The issue seemed to go away for a few minutes, but as soon as I started spinning and climbing, the bowing and clicking came back, even worse.
I read that the pole is supposed to bend slightly to accomodate your movements, but I don't think this is what they meant. Anyone out there, if you have any thoughts or advice, I will greatly appreciate it.

I solved my dilemma!
The pole wasn't alligned properly on the adjuster thread, so the screws weren't going in all the way. Now my pole is smooth as it should be.
Back to poling. K thx bye!

OK, looking at the assembly manual now…
It's the three hex screws right above the adjuster thread, which is covered.
Is the cover somehow supposed to go over the three hex screws, too?
Me and my pole struggles 🙂
