Hehe, I’m sure we all love you too Nikkay.
I have cellulite, I reckon cellulite is sexy, the only time I haven’t had it was when I was unhealthiy underweight. It’s more fun to be a strong sexy woman (or man) with cellulite then make yourself ill trying to get rid of it?

Yeah they are but the problem is not that they are getting jammed – it's that there is damage to the joint and inside of the tube meaning that no matter how tight and evently tightened they are they will twist round when in use.
I'm not so bothered about spending a little money on replacing the parts so make my life easier, I would just like it to be sorted out. It may turn out that it is cheaper and easier just to buy a new pole.

Getting really frustratedI'm actually considering buying an 'elite pole pro' instead I've seen good reviews on another forum and their customer service is apparently top class. The only problem is, as of yet, there are fewer options, they only come in chrome, 47mm and extensions are not available on the website, you have to contact directly to get them.
Certainely, at the moment I can't say I would reccomend, based on my customer care experience with x pole so far.

Getting really frustratedPerhaps I should be more patient, however, I waited already 4 months with no reply, so I don't have high hopes for hearing back any time soon. I don't want to be rude to x-pole as a company they offer a quality product and I'm sure they have an awful lot of work on.
I just don't have time to be faffing with broom handles every time I need to move my Xpert and because I'm moving house I don't want them to ship the pieces here after I have moved 5 hours drive away!

MemberMay 11, 2011 at 2:40 am in reply to: x pole – no replies? Getting really frustratedOoops, forgot to do the body text. I have had loads of problems with X pole UK.
They asked for my postal address in an email to 'move forward with the matter' but then haven't got back to me when I asked how they were moving forward. I've emailled several times since but nothing!
This is the THIRD time they've just stopped replying and I understand they are busy but I don't expect to wait over a week for a brief email reply.
I'm just so disappointed with them. I don't know what to do. Please help. =(

Maybe teach her the extended leg spin? you dont come off the ground until you are practically on the floor for that one – i think you can do it without lofting up at all but it gives you the feeling of a spin. It might help?

MemberApril 15, 2011 at 4:16 am in reply to: What do you look for in a Pole Fitness Dance Studio? It’s always worth having a 5 minute feedback session at the end of class, this could be when you’re stretching And cooling down. Just ask the attendees if there is anything they would like to focus on, review next time etc. Afterall, if you get feedback from each session you know how to make it more accessable next time. 🙂
I personally am looking for a studio to attend atm and my priorities are:
1. Friendliness and professionalism of staff. If they are comfortable the attendees will be.
2. That puts an emphasis on correct technique and safety – If the tell you to kick into an invert they’re off the list.
3. The range and availability of different types of classes (it would be nice to be able to do fitness and dance classes at the same place maybe even some fusion like pole/belly or pole on pointe)
4. A place which doesn’t tie you in to 6 weeks of regular sessions at one time due to my work schedule over summer (but has the option to do so as it is best to have regular sessions).
5. A place that has at least a few supervised (don’t want to stuck with someone who’s gonna do what I just did on the laminate) open pole sessions a week.
6. I don’t mind a little chattiness between students and teachers it helps with communication, but no mobile phone conversations with cheryl or mindy or whoever during class. My last instructor did this and it was extremely unprofessional, I made a complaint and she didn’t stop!
Everyone has made food points but I hope that helps. 🙂 x
