I have started a nightly light stretch. I start with the obvious light stretches and then i put one leg up across on the top of some chairs which makes my leg straight across and hold it and lean into it and straighten too. I’ve gotta start doing the back one the back way with the other for standing.

I’m doing this at work when no one is watching. Its time convenient there , I’ll have to reserve the actual stretching anything that looks like the splits for at home.

Any other creative ways for me to start trying for the splits?

for clarification and curiosity… I am thinking x pole/removable but in the office, then reason i mention permanent is if I have to keep putting it up and down it would take up half the available time for poling. I work at overnight, sometime double shifts. I work a man of the house type job while still trying to cook some and take the girl to school and pick her up. Did I mention half the time I wake up and take a 6 hr energy shot just to get going. blah, blah, blah sorry for the lame part. The pay makes it a little more worth it once the furloughs go away and at least there is a job, right?

Thanks for the support and advice. I have showed my 7 year old a video of non sexy , sport clothes wearing, athletic type. I asked her what she thought, she said "cool!, How do they do that? I told her ,"they work their muscles and don’t watch too much tv!" I also mentioned as a little girl I used to be able to twirl around the different bars in the school yard and she knew what I was talking about. I do not doubt some of my fun of this is remembering back when.

Thanks for the advice. I’ll need to find the time but… you’re right moves do look better when there is more flexability. When I was young I walked on my tip toes d/t tight heel cords. I just never pushed further. thanks again!!

Hi- new here! I am very new to this and am about to get my own pole. I started buying dvds and I have a few, including leigh anns box set. I saw on utube first. I loved the style of it and came to really envy the touch of limberness, I am a huge fan. She does awesome tricks and has a unique hair flip, knee bend hip combo. Also in the dvd has someone else well known that I can’t remember at the moment." miss sexy"? I remember from a utube competition vid,i think. inspires me
