Wow good commercial. It’s so true we see ourselves so negatively and other people see the positive. We need to start looking at the positive 🙂
Myself
1) I love my long eyelashes
2) I love my strong legs
3) I learning to love my strong arms
Pole
1) I love my splits
2) I love the majority of lines I can make
3) I love that pole has come back into my life after 7 years when I never thought It was something I lost and would never get to experience again -
I came across this journal on fb and found it on this link…http://www.liveituppolefitness.com/pole-journals/
Not sure if this goes to the u.s. but it has different sections with goals music etc. I thought it was pretty cool. The others pole journals I found were not broken into sections, they could b used for pole journaling but they looked like they were just address books with pole dancing covers. The link above is an actual progress tracker pole journal. Hope this helps, I have yet to journal my pole progress but I should. 🙂 -
Lmao jq3520 I have mine in between my kitchen and my living room and I have gotten a “is that…??? Is that what I think it is??” What? A “stripper” pole…no a pole fitness pole 🙂 haha

Mine does it too and I’m terrified of over tightening the screws!! I have not tried to take it down and put it back up yet though. I hope someone here knows why the pole does this and how to fix it. I feel like it shouldn’t do this. When I put it on spin and change back to static it is tight and doesn’t move but after a song it moves back and forth…it is very annoying. I have a chrome xpert as well.

MemberMarch 22, 2013 at 12:17 am in reply to: Is it normal to lose your leg grips so fast?I started poling again after 7 years almost a year ago. I realized that i never really gave myself credit back then for having the strength, flexibility, and confidence to pole!! some intermed./adv moves i could still do, but some took me a bit to get back. And of course in the pole world the moves are endless!! when u git it then u do a deadlift when u got that then there is an aerial deadlift. Its exciting and challenging, a personal journey. anyhow..I started out (for lack of my own pole) at a studio once a week for about an hour or two. I would do pole excercises and spins as well as inverts and other moves (I had hoped it was like riding a bike). I would freestyle and do floorwork as well. Now I have a pole at home and I still go to studio an hour or two once a week as well as try to fit in 1-2 days of pole at home. Your body will get used to it 🙂 I could feel myself getting stronger just going once a week..it’s a great feeling!!

I took a workshop with Phoenix here in sac and she was very attentive to everyone’s levels of pole. She was very good at adjusting the moves and breaking them down. I was not as advanced as a couple other girls in there but it didn’t matter, she took the time to help us all no matter where we were at. Got my first Allegra with her 🙂 a lot of bruises and very sore but very worth it 🙂 good luck!!

Thx I will let her know!! :))) I just want to spread the love of pole to everyone I know everywhere :))))

Thx Veena..good to know. I will work on it without my hand on my foot.

Thx again. I am fairly new to knee holds/moves…so I figure some pain/bruising at first but this was crazy muscle pain, I am used to the skin pulling stuff but muscles ow!! I am going for a massage on Friday ($20 for an hour in auburn,ca!!), although my calf will probably be better…u can always use a massage right!!! 😉

Ok from what I saw on u tube it is called a marley spin. I did see one girl do it without her hand one her foot but the rest of them grabbed the top foot and most of them went in to grab both feet. So sorry not cupid, it’s marley…but pain may be the same since they both knee hold moves maybe? Now that I think about it when I wrote the post I think I said I was spinning backwards but I wasn’t I was spinning forward.

Thx rosemay 🙂 I used my friends foam roller last night and have been massaging my calf. It is feeling better i just have a little soreness behind my knee now. U can do the spinning one with no hands? When I did Cupid on static I was able to not hold my foot but when I did the spinning one, where u are upside down and the lower foot is not on the pole it is behind it, I didn’t think it could be done without a hand on that top foot? I’m going to u tube..maybe I don’t have the correct name for the move or just haven’t seen it done with no hands. Thx for the advice!!

Can u recommend any good certification websites? I would like to b certified but idk who is legit and who isn’t. I have found certs that cost $400 per phase with 4-6 phases!! That’s a lot of money!! Plus i am in sac and there doesn’t seem to b anything here. Thx webmaster 🙂

My nemesis and most feared: CAR!! Ckr is ok :/ but I don’t feel stable in either one. I just slip, I have yet to find the sweet spot on my thighs where I feel secure. I can do inverted crucifix and other upside down moves, I can do plank and superman (for short time), wrist sit, new to advanced plank…but idk why, besides fear, that I can’t do car!! Squeeze my butt, turn knees in…just doesn’t feel like I will stick!!! Ugh soooo frustrating!!

Never tried foot undies…but have u tried jazz shoes? They have them in black and nude and they are comfortable. Doesn’t even look like u are wearing shoes if u get the nude ones.
