Great to hear as I am a runner so my hip flexors and hamstrings are super tight. I thought the speed was just me not being able to do as fast because I don’t have her range if motion.

curious if he suggested anything? I am thinking about adding a protein shake or something for recovery after my long runs and when doing strength training for pole.

No skid pad on a hardwood floor, just using the rubber feet. I have only used it a few times but haven’t seen any movement.

I went to a running store to be fit for my shoes and they watched me walk barefoot and determined I am a neutral and only showed me shoes that would work for me. I am fairly new to running having done a few 5ks, and 1 10k. I am currently training for a 10 miler and noticed that as my runs are starting to be longer my shins and ankles bother me more if I try to run too close together. I am also training with hills so that is part of the issue in learning how to slow my pace downhill. My shoes were right around $100 so I don’t feel they were horribly expensive (Brooks Ghost). Good luck and hopefully you will be running pain free soon. There is no high like a running high!

Thanks for making me feel better! It bums me out a little though because it is so loud I can’t use it on spin while the kids are sleeping. Hubby is going to try some WD40 on it tonight.

How are the cues? I have the felix cane dvd and don’t care for the cues. There are a few times that you are looking away from the screen and she doesn’t audibly alert to a position change.

These are not specifically pole shorts but I just got a pair and like them for pole. no splits here either (or any advance in flexi really) because I stopped stretching to train for running. Maybe over the winter I will try to spend more time stretching since it is too cold to run.
