Yeah she does have a reations to flea bits also …she will get big welts from them, but they go away fast. The doctor didnt say what kind of spider. It can even be a normally house spider for all i know. Just dont know how she got bit, had to be outside. I am freak for cleaning and you will never see a spider web in a corner of my home. lol
I did experince this once before with my ex-husband , he was bit from a spider on his back. He still went to work not feeling well . He had a fever and throwing up. All he remember is pulling up at the station and not feeling his legs. For what we were told he opened the door from the tow truck and he fell out. He was bit from
a spider the day before not knowing it . That spider was a brown recluse .
I did think spider that night , but it thew me off becasue the symptoms were different. There are alot of different spiders all over the world that will make you sick. -
sorry Jenn . that was last night about 8pm or so . I am gonna try an get some of us in tonight as well. Theres a few of us thats been going in every night now.

After readin this I had to laugh, your not alone. When I first got my pole , i was the same way . I have 4 children two that are girls 12, and 14, that was just excited as i was. With all the excitement I could not get on that pole in front of everyone, I didnt want to look like a fool…lol . I never really danced in front of him , even tough I got some sort of dance background. My 12 yr old asked if she can get on it and try and do the showgirl move(front hook) I said yeah , go ahead….I was damn, she did it and it lookd so easy. I tried and fell to my knees. I could not lift myself to do one single spin, I was glad he wasnt watching.
I started to practice while everyone was out of the house during the day, it took me like a week to actully spin around that pole. I started video taping myself to see how I looked. When i finally got a good one , and showed my boyfriend he was amazed. Even now he dont sit and watch me, I get to giddy and get focus. I do show him all my videos and he loves them. He even showed my May challege video to a few of his friends , and they were just in shock for what he says…lol. It kinda of make me feel good to know that when i perform that I am getting postive feedback. As for me dancing for him, Oh it coming real soon and when it does , he wont know what hit him…lol -

I have sat here that pass few days reading theses post and figured, Why not , so here go’s…
I turned 37 in Febuary. I’m I’m 5’4 and 135lbs. Got married really young and then a divorce after 13 years, I have one 16 yr.old son out of that marriage . I am engaged now , planning a spring wedding for next year to a great guy that has 3 children.
I also suffer from Panic disorder , and anxiety. I been on medication for it now for at least 11 years. Since poling , I notice I am feeling so much better. I used to get at the least one panic attack a day. Poling has changed that for me , I am now getting fewer attacks. The Panic attacks decreased to two week.
Growing up I took Jazz and Gymnastics.. I always loved to dance and always wanted to pole. I decided to teach my-self so I got my Pole at the end of Febuary ,and I love it. I never been into exercise, even though I tried, I just never stuck with it. I noticed I I lost a few pounds of stubborn belly fat since I started poling.
It’s great to loose some weight and get in shape doing something you enjoy. -
I just want to take a minute to thank everyone that repied to my post. Trust me I wont be giving up. I am to eager to learn at this point, and so is my daughter. I just tend to push my-self to hard at times to learn things, and then theres no progress. The next couple of weeks I will be working on what I can do and improve my form and grace.
As for the age thing , I never said I was to old for poling. It was said to me that I was to old , it just burned me up and got to me for while. I did say I wonder if my age could be a reason why its taking me longer to learn things. I realize now , and deep down inside i knew before that age has nothing to do with it. I am just so use to being hard on myself to accomplish things.
Everyone here is so encouarging and friendly. Veena I cant thank you enough for this site . Its Great to know that we can come here and feel as if we are not alone and to be here for one another. -
Thank you Veena , I know I am being kind of hard on myself. I just get jealous of others and there progress at times and wonder why cant do certain things yet. Dont get me worng I do enjoy seeing someones progress and I also enjoy watching. A few friends of mind did come out and say to me , that I am to old for this pole thing.
I think that got to me for awhile. I was just progressing things so fast for a while , but now its not so quick.
I just cant wait until the kids go back to school next week , so I can start practicing again everyday. -

I Have been on the inside of strip club plenty of times, but not as a dancer. My ex-boyfriend was a bouncer at a place in PA close to NJ, so not a good area either. I went with him to work , Knowing it was a topless place. I wanted to see what goes on there. Thinking It was kind of trashy and I would see the dancers flirting with him and so forth. I can tell you I was wrong. I would sit there from 7pm until 2am and watch theses girls dance. It wanst what I expected. Alot of the girl there , where really nice and very talented. I got to know alot of the dancers and I cant say not one never through there self off as slutty. After talking with these girls , they would tell you that they are there for the job, they would play the part to get the tips. I remember two girls that would never strip off there top, and they were the two girls that where the favorites of the place and got the most tips. One of these girls was and Attoney and did dancing on the side for extra cash.
I did enjoy going to see these girls dance, I wasnt into what they were wearing or not wearing, but into watching there routines. Its because of that experince of going to that strip club is why and I learning to pole dance. Not because of the exotic side , its the art of pole dance and how beautiful one can make it look. So in my opinon you can learn alot from going there and picking up pointers. You would just have to prepare yourself to see some of these girls half dressed. I somehow blocked it out, so it wasnt a problem for me. I hoped I helped. -
Thank so much guys for taking the time to read my post. I will be posting some videos shorty. This site is great , I been reading all the forums for like a month now. Finally got enough guts to introduce myself today. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_tongue.gif
