The application and removal of glycerin sounds like a really great idea. Also, if you want to make your own version of glycerin based , check out liveituppolefitness.ca? .com…? ONe of the two. There is a recipe to make your own, which is great because you can vary the recipe to suit your needs. I used it when I did a show on steel scaffolding poles and it was a life saver. Possibly literally. 😛

Hi There. I really enjoy and appreciate the style of teaching on your site. I used to have the lessons, but then I reached the point where I needed more advanced levels and variations. Although…I did find one once of the marion amber, I think, and haven’t seen it on the list since. Am I missing it? Or is my memory on crack? Also, I am always very tempted by these deals. I thought I actually paid for a year membership back in January or February, but maybe it’s the paypal problems others are talking about, since, when I went to sign on, I wasn’t a member. I haven’t had problems with Paypal on any other occasion though. 🙂

    Hi.

Yes, I”ve never tried shaving cream. I think it’s enough of a different formula to work differently than a gel, so I would stick with the gels.

As for men’s or women’s, I’ve used both. I tend to avoid smelling like fruit or flowers, so I opt for men’s, but that’s really just a taste thing, I believe. I’ve used Gillette. 🙂

    HI BagLady and Cuwoody!

I just rub it in. I also put it on my stomach and sometimes inner elbow, depending. As for brand…I”m sure there are some better than others, but I am still exploring. Let me know if you find a favorite! I usually avoid the ones which say they are tooo moisturizing. I want some grip, but no slip. 🙂

I also use dry hands on my hands. I wash the gel off before dry handing afterwards.

It’s different for everyone, but I find that the pole gets slippery (for me) with dewpoint. Shaving gel can be found quite inexpensive. I currently have a can I bought at Dollarama. 🙂

This is what Cleo uses, and since I’ve tried it, it’s been my go to. She also sprays hair spray over top of it, which I only do for performance. I find that the gel has an added advantage of psychologically putting me in “pole mode” because I smell it every time I train, having a pavlovian effect on me.

    Sorry, typos!

a “diet” that helps grow muscles!

Now I can’t remember the rest of them…

I don’t know if this helps, but I get incredibly frustrated. I make gains, them life gets in the way and I lose them. That had been the last yay and a half and it can get a person down when they see everyone around them advancing.

My response, since I love pole on several levels, is to think of pole as a process rather than moves etc…as the goal. There are goals, but you attain them through the process.

As for strength…are you choosing a dirty which helps grow muscles? I find that it isn’t how much protein I consume necessarily, it’s when. I have protein right after I rain, and then try to keep a little bit consistent in my food throughout the day.

    Hour that helps!

Do these options all work with MAC?  Does anyone have any apple specific suggestions?

Oh sorry.  I meant to say that the smaller sizes in the Brazil shorts cut my booty in half.

    For reference, I wear a 26/27 jean.

Hey.  I am a six or small in most things, but a medium in Brazil shorts.  But then, I have quite a round booty and bigger sizes, even though they are closer to my actual size, cut my bum in half in that 'makes two bums' kinda way.

Update:  I have a brass x-stage light and I love it.  It's heavy and cumbersome to move, but I chalk that up to safety. It is heavy because it is safe!

Hi.  I haven't tried the different strrengths of itac enough to comment, but I have noticed that itac works amazingly for me in a cold room on a chrome pole (never brass) and that when the room is warm, or (god forbid) humid, I experience the sticky mess everone is talking about.  And…one other thing I've noticed is that the less itac I use, the more effective.  I don't take it out of the tub with my fingertips so that my hands are free of it (I scoop it out wih my knuckle, and rub it on the chosen spots with the back of my hand), and put it on as thin as possible.  That way if any comes off on the pole, it's too little an amount to cause problems.

HI.  I"m  back.  So, we were using the navigator on the car to find the stores and, according to it, there nearest Dick's was in Pittsburgh.  I did make it to a Sports Authority and they didn't have Prince Grip, but I bought something called Mission Skincare Ultra-Grip.  Never heard of it, but …we'll see how it works!

    Thanks again!
