    Hanka I am so excited that you are teaching at Pole Con, I already signed up for one of your classes!!! I haven't seen a lot of your dances but that routine to the Cats musical number won my heart =)  I can't ever seem to find that video now =(

    Yep I totally love leg warmers… so much that I decided to knit myself some "summer" leg warmers out of a pretty thin yarn so I don't burn up in them 😉

    Don't forget, EVEN if you are not ready to invert, you can still work on SOME inverted moves by getting up in a reverse handstand!!

    Well if it makes a difference I find myself much more comfortable walking my hands down into the CAR than just dropping (that way I can make sure my legs are in the proper hold while my hands are still in reach of safety). 

     

    I have a similar problem actually… I'm trying to choreograph a routine for a competition, but now the pole is 14' high and I feel like I need to use that space… but the HEIGHT really scares me in a lot of moves, like the Knee Hold or the Jade or any weird leg switches while I'm inverted. Any tips for that as well?

    I just want to add that the chiropractor HAS actually been the best thing I've done so far. So MAYBE I just need more time… I'm just frustrated because my right side is now SO WEAK from the pain, even though it has improved from a couple of months ago.

    I have pains that I believe are the same as what you all are talking about. It started over a year ago, and still hasn't gone away. I did massages, no help. I'm doing the chiropractor thing now and he says that my spine has a weird left curve that is causing a lot of the stress…. but after ten sessions, it is still painful =( 

     

    I wish I could help, I hope someone else can =( =(
