I’m in my 50’s and have taken up the pole just this year. I’m fumbling and bumbling around it like a silly goose, but I LOVE it and I’m going to keep on keeping on, girl! Do I wish I had those beautiful long lithe legs of our hostess, the pretty little Veena? Why, yes indeedio, I do. But I don’t. I’m fifty-something with chunkadunk thighs and arms that will probably *never* haul my a$$ up that pole, but, hey! I’m listing to sexy music and feelin’ the beat! And it makes me feel young and sexy and alive. Rock on, girl, ROCK ON!!! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif

Great news! The company worked with me to replace the DVD set that I originally ordered. I am thankful to them and I am very much enjoying learning from The Art of Pole. It is a wonderful teaching tool!

Just a follow-up to report that the A/P company worked with me to replace the dvd set that I did not receive from my original order. They were forthcoming with communication and I appreciate the fact that we came to a good conclusion to the matter. I love this DVD set!

I am soooooo disappointed! Even if I go the route of disputing the charges with Visa I won’t get the set. This has been frustrating for me; I wanted the set so badly…https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif.

I’m very disappointed to report that I ordered the entire set of The Art of Pole over five weeks ago. I received an email invoice stating that it was shipped from Austrailia on June 7. I did not pay the extra monies for tracking and/or insurance. I’ve been emailing the company but it appears, at this point, that my only recourse is to wait longer and then dispute the charges to my Visa card if the order does not come within another couple of weeks. My advice? Pay the extra fee for tracking and insurance. I wish I would have now.

Hey, guys. I ordered The Art of Pole and was sent an email invoice from the company that the dvd set was sent June 7, over five weeks ago. I’ve been in touch with them via email every week to report that the set has not been delivered to my home. I did not add tracking fees and now the company is stating that they have no way of knowing where my order is. My question: Has anyone ever had to wait this long (over 5 weeks) to receive their order from Austrailia? Do I have any recourse to dispute the Visa charges if I do not receive the dvd set? Thanks for any advice you can give me…rhonda

While I’m sorry to hear about your problems with paypal, I’m almost happy to hear I’m not the only one. I’ve never had credit problems with any company at any time but paypal blacklisted my account for some reason that they never explained and I’ve never been able to order from Etsy through paypal. I tried on numerous occasions to correct (their) problem but the issue was never resolved. I am assuming I can’t order Veena’s lessons, either, because of the issues with paypal. That company is messed up!

Hey, hannahpc…I WISH my pole was just in another room. I would be like you and run back and forth… https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_razz.gif …but my computer is in our main home and the pole is waaaaaay far away at our little lake cabin (no computer access). By the time I ran to it and back to the computer it would take over two hours… https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif …I’m still thinking about subscribing, though, hoping I can remember what Veena does. Another issue is that we only go to the lake on the weekends so I have little time to practice and get better. But at least I have a pole I can work/play on once a week and at least I have this great site with all the wonderful videos to watch and learn from. Now if Veena would put out a dvd (hint, hint) I could have the best of both worlds. You guys are SO GREAT to watch. My first goal is to get good enough to post a "beginner’s" video so I can get some helpful feedback. Y’all have fun poling and keep those vids coming…they help us new girls a lot!… https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif

Hey, Veena…hope the BIG surprise has something to do with a DVD (hint, hint). I’d LOVE to take your lessons…you are soooo graceful on the pole…but my computer is in one place and my pole in another (no internet access). I love this site and have learned so much just watching the videos. I’m a newbie and am excited about getting better. Thanks for all you do to make this a great place to hang out! rhonda… https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif
