Do you mean the drop where it looks like you fall down headfirst in the inverted crucifix?
If yes, Leigh Ann does a very impressive (and scary https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif) one in this video, at around 2:50

I don't know anything else that could help as I can't do the move.

Do you think it's possible to lift into an elbow stand on a desk, from standing/sitting in front of it? Probably not a deadlift, but with kicking up?
Everytime I brainstorm (= daydream) at work I'm thinking it would be pretty cool if I could do that – in the office, when no one's watching https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

Works really well. You can play around with the settings to find a level of compression you can live with. And it doesn't remove the music https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

After your post yesterday I searched on my own and found a tool which compressed a 1.2 GB file to 20 MB without visible loss of quality … except the music was gone https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif

A video editing software with more functions lets you chose the export file format and the size and so on https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif
I personally use only .wmv files for internet uploads. For making pretty videos that I don't want to upload, but just watch for fun I usually make .avi files. The difference in video quality (and file size) is huge.

And this depends on the file format and quality of the video. 5 min long videos can be as small as 20 MB or they can be for example 1.5 GB large. That makes a huge difference.
On a faster connection uploading 20 MB takes me 5 minutes and with a slow connection it takes 30 minutes. Now go figure the time difference with 1.5 GB files https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_eek.gif
(I never uploaded anything here on SV, but the principles are the same)
So while creating or editing videos it does make sense to think about the quality and file format you want and need it to be.

I'm still in there – in october I did her dvds 8 times in total (15 times since I reveiced the DVDs).
And just one week ago I did the very first split in my life https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif In 2.5 weeks from like 4 inchs to the ground, I think the dvds are magical or something https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_eek.gif
Now I only need to get flexible enough to be able to do the splits without stretching for one hour before https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

I only tried tite grip, I really like it so far. But I can't spin anymore after applying it on my hands https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_confused.gif I'm always using spinning mode for a routine with spins … which is okay, because I got a great grip with tite grip https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif
I'd love to try dry hands and grrrip one day.

I too have problems with this move. I can do it with my foot against the pole (but I'm sliding down). If I try it with the calf against the pole I just can't get the calf on the pole! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif Is this about (middle split) flexibility?

Sephira, you're really slipping with the mighty grip gloves? https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_surprised.gif Do you use the ones with tack or without tack?
When I use the gloves I'm sticking too much …

How long does it take for one person to break a pole in?
Funny thing is: Now that the weather gets colder I can actually get on my pole again without sliding right off https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif I got a 50mm chrome x-pert.
During summer as soon as I was warmed up my body was covered in sweat so that I couldn't do anything on the pole. In a pole sit I would slide right down. (In germany we don't have air conditioning in our houses https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif )
Tite grip helps for the hands, but I was always too lazy to use it on my whole body https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif
For me the biggest problem with my pole is the sweat and my sweaty hands. I usually have to wipe the pole after every trick https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif But, like I said, Tite Grip works wonders https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cool.gif

Oh and to the question which dvd to use: I just alternate between the two, so that I doesn't get boring https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

Commitment with Aletheas DVDs really pays off https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif
I got my DVDs 9 days ago and since then I used them 7 times (only one DVD per day https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif) and I'm down to like 1.3 inches on my good side in the front split https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_surprised.gif
My short flexibility story: from january to june I trainied regularly and in the end I was like 3 inches away from the ground. Then I stopped all training due to an injury for 3 months and only re-started 9 days ago with Aletheas DVD.
I thought I'd need a lot of time to get back to the 3 inches after that long break, but no, I'm almost on the ground now https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif
I'll definately continue to try to do the DVDs 5 times a week. But not both on the same day, that's a bit too crazy for me https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

Wow, 3,5 cm – that's pretty close https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif
Vaudeville, I watched only some of Veenas flexibility lessons and no stretching routine of hers. So I don't know whether the exercises are all the same or not.
I personally found that Veena explains the exercises better than the dvds and also gives more variations of the exercises (I mean beginner and advanced ones)
It might be nice to have the dvds as well just to have a different routine and to not get bored with doing the same one over and over again.
