The fact that it has the KT Coates DVD means that it has broken copyright laws.
Basically you can scare the beejeebus out of your friend by saying that she has a pirated DVD and if caught is liable for serious fines (up to $250k).

The DVD is the main thing that x-pole are getting the forgers on, so let your friend know that, I mean would she really want to be caught with pirated goods that could land her in big trouble??

Also, if you can get hold of the receipt, send the details to x-pole UK, they will be rather happy to get the details of the importer and can then get them via the courts for distribution of pirated material.

This is how we got them off Trade me (kiwi version of eBay), purely by the pirated DVD.

far more simple: dump WMM and get a free download (trial) of Sony Vegas.
It works far better than WMM.

WMM is a really crappy product that is not suited for editing videos.
It constantly drops frames, creating jerky films; is a nightmare to work with and I would suggest not using it for anything.

Vegas is a pro product, however they have a free trial and it also can be purchased pretty cheaply, ie under $60 US last time I looked.
If you are serious about making good looking vids, then get vegas. It’s a good product.

We use Final Cut for editing at home – mind you, we have a film company and now we’re using Maya for modelling and animation, so it makes sense. Yes, we are Mac heads.

So, in a nutshell, try Vegas and see how it goes – you may notice a marked improvement in the end product.
I’ve also heard it’s a very easy to use product, especially for beginners.

to assist most of you who wonder if you’re ready, after 2 years, I still don’t invert – laybacks excepted…

You do need ab strength and you cannot "fling" into the position – nor can you drop your arms. PoleGirlSonia had a student not listen to her about that and dislocated ribs – you have been warned.

We’re in a sport that is hard physical work. ensure you’re conditioned prior to doing the trick.
Even seasoned dancers have learned things off newbies who have learned techniques correctly.

Take your time with inverts – they may be cool, but they are also dangerous and you need to be physically ready for them.

    anyway, inverting’s for crazy folk…

Keep going on the exercises – they do work.
Once you’re at 5 minutes, you’ll wonder what you were wondering about.
The grip also means you can sit without using your arms, great for some moves.

You may think thighs are bad now – just wait until you start armpit and knee holds.
Those make pole sits seem easy!!

Get an x-pole, we’ve had 100kg plus rugby players (All Blacks if you follow rugby) swing on ours and they haven’t pulled them down!

Chris Measday told me that Xpole have a sideways force rating of 2500kg, which is huge!!

Any static, permanent pole should be fine, I weighed a fair amount more than 180lb when I started and didn’t pull over static poles.

According to health nazis, I’m still morbidly obese, but what do they know!

What you will notice is that the fat will drop and muscle will build and you should avoid measuring toning etc via the scales, measure it by your new achievements: Strength, flexibility, new poses / spins etc.

go to the hardware / building supply shop and get 2 10" stanley screwdrivers.

way cheaper than the release tools and Stanley is a strong brand.

We use them at the studio and they are brilliant.

I love their "Half A55 episodes", where they do Jackass type stunts, but Nana versions, like running with scissors and other simple, less harmful stuff.

And the Tui sneak (where they sneak cans of beer into an event on camera.)

Bill and Ben, let us count the ways we love you….

355ml Red Bull, quite a lot of prunes, a soy flat white (coffee) and water.
however, have done 1 x Bollywood class and have Vertical Strength to do later (killer class, aka Torture time by many students) and taught a low maintenance pole class.

Not dieting, as it doesn’t work for me, but trying to eat less processed food.

For those who eat a lot of dairy, you may find this research result fascinating.

Since I stopped doing dairy, I noticed I had an earlier satiety and didn’t eat so much. Asparagus excepted.
(calcium also comes from plant sources: broccoli, cauli, other brassica etc…)

Get a cheap pair of cycle shorts and cut them down to the length you want.
Cut them about 2 inches longer than you think you need them, they will roll up.

sounds like a burst blister to me.

Blister will have come from friction, just like new shoes, and then a spin has ripped the skin off the top.
Keep it clean and covered to prevent bacterial infections.

Once it’s dried out, then it should all be fine.

I married an engineer, quote him to the husband: this is an amazing piece of engineering and I can see it would take quite a bit to bring it down in a hurry.

Having said that, keep checking your nut is tight at the top, I think this is why I’ve managed to bring our down…

Xpoles have have 2500kg side ways pressure, but don’t let him do a rugby charge at it.

They are very strong and operate on opposing force, but you can bring them down if not looked after or aimed at.
