2 months and already the SM? WOW, you’ve got some strength, Veena! Did it just come naturally, or did you do other exercise as well?
Also, my first video is easy to find…it’s the only one on my profile! Hehe! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_thumright.gif

Rooooooxyyyyyy! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif
Post the tutorial! I keep trying it, and I’m getting slightly closer…I just don’t get how you put your arms behind your back and fling around without wrenching both arms (and shoulders!) right off! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_rambo.gif I’m sort of getting the hand placement, but I feel like I’m missing something rather important…some stability somewhere! And possibly taking an extra step? https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_scratch.gif I feel like an https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_elephant.gif when I want to go for a https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cat.gif ! -
Hehe, Sakura, I think it really depends on your heritage and your hormones. See, my hormones are insane, so they like to give me huge hips and huge breasts. I also have a farmer-family heritage, so my body thinks I should have had like, three children by now https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_razz.gif
Probably not, but that’s what I think! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cat.gif
Honestly, though, I’ve heard of girls finishing their "growth" at the age of 13, whereas mine STARTED at 16, so I had a bit of a slow start. I don’t think you have anything to worry about! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif -
That’s so true, Solya, I have a lack of motivation a lot. I used to have depression in spades, so I suppose the habits still get me sometimes. I’ve been getting better (especially after starting pole dancing regularly, because more exercise is great) but, yes, I keep looking at it like "I’ll never get it…I won’t look as good as ____…I suck."
I think having goals is a big thing, too. Attainable, little goals, as well as cool, big goals (I wish there was a Canadian PDF!) like getting that awesome move, or something!
I’ve started the schedule again, see how it goes. Just writing things down seem to help https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif -
Hey there…jeeze, if I could lose a size or so, I’d be fine! Mine are getting bigger! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_scratch.gif I have heard that they don’t stop growing ’till you’re 25, so I’ve got another year to do…and I’ll probably reach somewhere around a 34E. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_neutral.gif They’re hard to deal with.
I’ve heard that your pectoral muscles (I think??) keep them up well. So, the ones in the front of the chest, that also connect over to the arms, creating your armpits. Those ones are good for that kind of thing, I think. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gifAlso, I agree with Sissy, they’re nice. Not to worry. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

Walking in heels, or generally keeping your toes pointed, can result in shortening the calf muscle, so please make sure you stretch it out really well! I’ve never been that used to heeled shoes, so I can get away with a little bit of punishment…but seriously, ladies, be careful!
That said, I often get cramps when my feet get too cold (this was a major issue for a while, it hurt like crazy!), or yes, when I pointed them a lot. I love pointing my toes at random, seeing how far I can get, looking pretty…you know, the usual! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif So, I’d say that when you get a cramp, maybe take a little pause, work the muscles out, flex your foot and massage whichever muscle is giving you a hard time. You’re training a new way of moving, so be patient! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_rambo.gif -
Thanks guys! I’ve been told that a proper schedule would be very good for me, and considering I’m in school, you’d think I could get one down! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_rolleyes.gif Work shall be starting soon, though, so I’m hopeful that perhaps they’ll give me something *slightly* the same every week, and I can do my thing at the same time every day. Either that, or I’ll have to continue the horrible tradition of waking up every day at 6am. *shudder*
I’ve always found it encouraging to find other people who are interested in the same things I am, and not necessarily at the same skill level. It’s always good to have people who’ve already gotten a move down or can help you diagnose an issue…I just don’t have anyone around my…well, in the whole town, anyways! No people I can relate to, here. That’s why I stick with this place! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif
I think perhaps I’ll try to make myself a schedule again, just for the next couple of weeks (the last weeks of school!) and try to kick my own butt to do it. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_rambo.gif And make more videos and such! -
I know that for me, because I’m now in school and lugging my backpack and all my stuff around with me, the swinging action bothered my rotator cuff…I got some tendonitis there. In many cases it felt like I’d been shot through the shoulder! I couldn’t stay still for too long, and yet moving hurt. Slouching was terrible. I had to be really careful what I did with my shoulder, all the time!
So, I’d say give it some time. Even go to the doctor about it? That’s how I figured out my own issue. I’ve had problems with tendonitis in my ankles, elbows, and knees as well, so I know how to deal with it at this point. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_safesex.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cat.gif -
Hehe, Vodka, I feel the same about the walking…I tend to just walk around for a few turns just…because! I am never sure what to do after a couple of moves. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_rolleyes.gif

My hair. It’s one of those things I don’t even think about any more, but when I watch the video, I couldn’t count on both hands for lack of fingers how many times I pushed my hair around with one hand! I’m used to longer hair, I’m used to it tied back or whatever…something about my hair drives me crazy when I’m dancing, so I’m always tossing it back with one hand.

Hehe, the only thing I’ve done up till now is spins…a lot of them have required a lot of failure for me to get! I get bruises even still (it’s been a couple years, off and on), such as the giant one that mysteriously showed up on my knee, and the little one that showed up on the inner thigh. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_scratch.gif I once even got a little line of spots down my hip from learning a move. I kinda liked it! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cat.gif

Wow! I really wish I had a job right now, so I could buy them! Keep posting your secrets, Amcut! I’ll be able to afford them one day! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_sunny.gif

For me, it depends on if you mean realistically, or for fantasy.
Realistically, I like a nice person, with a great mind (I don’t want to be able to run verbal circles around him!), smallish but with nice muscle definition. I’m lucky to have found these things and more in my husband! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif
However, if you mean in the realm of fantasy (by this I mean…I would dream about it and write about it, but in reality I would never be in a relationship with a man like this) I like something entirely different! Broad of shoulder and chest, muscular (though more on the lean side), confident bordering on arrogant, powerful…or possibly on the wrong side of the law, like a pirate. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_pirat.gif
The main similarities between the two is the brains. I cannot deal with a man that can’t keep up with me, mentally. I did that once, and it was bad! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_evil.gifOh, and if you wanna go for something really off-the-wall, I like my girls little, thin, and punky. You know…those little punk girls with the lip piercings and the long bangs that cover one eye, or whatever? So cute! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_geek.gif

What is that move at 1.48?! It’s like a Brass Monkey / Cupid hybrid!
Brass Monkey + Cupid = Brass Cupid.
Sorry, I’m tired. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif

Amyxshi, I actually find pole dancing very sexy…but I suppose it’s more that I don’t find it sexual. I don’t enjoy things that are really overtly sexual with dance, I like it if it’s all innuendo. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cool.gif Like the Tango! What a hawt dance https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif
I find pole dancing sexy because of the flow, the passion, and the individuality of it. I believe I had said before somewhere…what we find sexy is personal, so for some people, they like feet, and other people like boobs, and some people like the whole package…but only when it’s moving! All kinds of things. So we can tailor pole dancing to what we want, depending on what we want from the dance itself. Thus, if we WANT it to be sexy, we can make it so…and if we don’t, then we don’t have to! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif
