I was planning an update next friday, but this I just had to share right now: 3 days in and… I got my shoulder mount back!! Now that’s a spirit booster!

Okay, so maybe some other people would also like to start with us now? Or Porshka you want to start over with new goals? Since you have that pole sit down now, you can aim for the next move 😉

My main goal would be to get back to the point where I was when I quit… and gain more flexibility because I didn't really have that back then eather!

    So…

    1. practice everything we do in the studio another 2x at home before the next class

    2. go running 2x a week (on days I don't poledance)

    3. stretching well after every workout (so that means 5 times a week), try to get some improvement on my front and middle splits.

    4. Stop eating junkfood and drink more water, not alcohol!  https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cool.gif

If I can do those 4 things, I should be back in shape in 100 days I think.

I have one huge benifit:I have already quit smoking a few months ago, otherwise that would be on there too!

In the first studio I went to, I used mostly 45. They also had 50 but I didn't like them, nobody there did.

My first pole, wich was homemade by my dad, was smaller (42, I think) and that worked even better for me. I don't know about 40 or 38 but I would like to try it!

Now both my friend and I have a 45 at home, wich is easy because we also practice together. Luckily our new teacher uses them too, so we never have to adjust.

Neither of us is planning on ever competing, so we don't have to worry about there being bigger poles and losing our grip.

I'm not sure I'm getting this, is there a new 100 day challenge starting now that the one before is over? Or are we just setting goals for ourselves whenever we want?

If a new one is starting, I would like to join in!

Felix Cane is one of my heroes too, that flexibility!

I also like Jenyne Butterfly, she's so playful

and just love Pantera, for her strength and just because she's her crazy self…

Actually, rather than someone with a perfect technique, I like to watch dancers with some personality 🙂

Thank you, it's good to be back!

My pole has arrived! Finally my living room looks normal again… There was such a big empty space in the middle before, just waiting for a purpose.

My first workout was great, except that one of the dogs wanted to play along. He kept bugging me, putting his toy in front of my feet, 'helping' with my streching by jumping on me, … Well at least I had a good laugh https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

My poling was actually okay, only a little disappointing that I can't do certain moves anymore. Just have to be patient I guess, and practice alot!

I don’t know what it is, but banana’s really work!
I had a lot of cramps in my calves a while ago. Like everynight when I went to sleep, actually everytime I sat down for a more than a minute.
Eventually I could ‘see’ them coming, and then I would start stretching immediately, so them my calves would never really lock up. However, this meant I was doing lunges at least 3 times a day…
Then I also followed my moms advice to eat a banana every 2 days, and eversince I do that, I’ve not had one cramp! No matter how hard I work out!
(btw sorry for my crummy English https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_redface.gif Is ‘eversince’ even a real word? https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif )
