hahaha – did he have to keep saying stripper pole? it’s not that it rubs me the worng way, it’s just that’s ALL most people know about it. I have to say, I’m not really a Leno or Conan fan, but the stuff Conan’s been doing to NBC the past few weeks has been some funny stuff (from what I’ve caught from the snippets online) thanks for sharing!

is it wrong that I just wanted to laugh? Veena’s so right – and it’s human nature to do the opposite – granted I only got through about 1 minute before I turned it off. There is too much good that we share here to focus negative energy on something like that (though I know waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more easily said than done) so let’s try to laugh and just be totally grateful and appreciative of what we have built here! – heck, maybe someone should invite them to the site!! One thing I have learned and continue to learn, is that, no matter how dumb/ill-informed someone is, anger and spite, even in defense, never get you anywhere, excpet to exhaust yourself. She probably LOVES the negative comments.

hey loopie – the editing is all iMovie on the iMac – it was sooo much fun!! It’s not perfect, but decent for not knowing what the heck I’m doing quite yet hehe. Can’t wait to do it again. I just put up my first video last night (eep!) so you can see how close up you get – it’s not super far away, it’s just that the Flip doesn’t come with a wide angle lens.. wow – 2 cameras – fancy!!! that’s awesome

hey there – I feel your pain – I love the flip but also have to put it in the crack corner of the room to get the pole in view and barely, at that – I, too, turned it on its side and apparently there is no way to rotate it back up (I contacted Flip and they told me so) so I put it in iMovie, but when you rotate it, it will only rotate to horizontal rectangle..grr!!

the best solution for me has been to put it in the far corner of the room and angle it up a bit so I get more of the upper than the lower part of the pole – it’s worked ok but I agree it is a little frustrating!! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_scratch.gif Good luck.

Yes, the pole Veena sells is the actual X pole – I bought mine from Veena a year ago and it is the best!! That’s why it is not inexpensive – it’s the real deal. don’t be fooled by inexpensive x poles, they can be downright dangerous. Check out Veena’s original post to this thread – very helpful!
