This could really be a charged subject, but it is not. I am so glad for that. I smoked it quite a bit when I was in High School. I was a social misfit, but a doobie a day kept me relaxed and able to handle the pressures of being a teenager. I do the same thing today, except it is Xanax (and only when needed) . Really no difference in the benefit I receive. Just one is legal and one is not. I have seen several documentaries on this subject.  I believe in the legalization of marijuana. Especially for seizures, cancer, and some other medical issues. Some people are concerned about the "liberal" use of the term "medical need". There is a concern over how legalization would affect the Mexican drug cartels, etc. I think that there are a lot of people in charge who would like to legalize marijuana, but they are too afraid to stand up for it due to political backlash. That's what I took away from the documentary. My husband works for the Government so he cannot smoke until he retires. He has just under 3 years and has already started the countdown to "doobie day". Legal or not.

I was always a stick figure when I was young. I have bad genetics and started getting cellulite when I was in my late 20's even though I was still super skinny. I'll be 48 in a couple of weeks, and the cellulite is horrid, but I don't care as much as I once did. I am in the best shape of my life as far as strength goes. I have a decent diet. I can get on that pole and do moves that 1/2 the women my age would never in a million years be able to do. That is satisfaction!! As Jovial said, a fake tan (I use a self tanner) can disguise the cellulite quite a bit. I also use a cellulite cream daily. Other than that, not much you can do except keep at it! Any form of exercise can improve the texture. I also found that most people are not looking at that stuff. Only the awesome moves!!

So, Chem. Is it the Razberi-K? This sounds awesome. I have a history of low norepinephrine, so it seems that this would be good for me. I'm not overweight, but of course it remains a struggle. Anything that can help it along would be great!

    From my iPod Christmas playlist:

B.B. King – Merry Christmas Baby

Dean Martin – The Christmas Blues

Kenny Rogers & Dolly Parton – Hard Candy Christmas (one of my favs!)

Sawyer Brown – Please Come Home for Christmas

Timbuk 3 – All I Want for Chistmas (not what you think it is)

I have a tiny head and super tiny ears. I have the same problem with earbuds. I even had custom made ones where they put stuff in your ears to make a mold for the finished product (for use with an iPod inside of my motorcycle helmet). They still aren't very good. So…I would love to be able to do this as well!

AF, my husband always reminds me that guys don't really hold shit against each other. I agree that your husband should just be able to tell them he isn't interested in going because he's just not into that kind of thing anymore. If they push him, he should just be able to say, "dudes, none of your f'ing business. Go and have yourselves a great time. Now let's watch the f'ing game" None of them will really care, in the end.

There are a few threads on this. I heard you can do most anything up to 3 months, then no more inverts. However, the most important thing is to talk to your doctor, first and foremost. Make sure they understand exactly what you are doing.

Check out Veena's spin tips in the "lessons" section…Personally, I can't go straight into spin mode. It helps if I do some static work/spins first to get my inner ear on board. The closer your body is to the pole, the faster you will spin. Stick an arm,  leg or other body part out and it will slow you down. Also, make sure you're not using any momentum to get into your move. Just a slight push off is enough. You will get used to it!

Oh, my gosh Mary Ellyn. I don't have a dog, but this post made me laugh out loud. We do love our pets, don't we?!

Dang it. I think I changed my mind on my song pick. Remembered one that is very inspirational. Short, but powerful…
