i’m thinking of entering!! i dont know about the travel expenses to Sweden https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_confused.gif but if there is a comp for me the artistic out of the box -weird one would be it! i’ve got a bunch of ideas too…hummm…
on the website it say though it they pick you , or your scheduled to compete and you dont make it, unless you have a doctors note they wont let you compete in pole art for the next 2 years. so you have to be sure! -

I know she had videos before this and so did a lot of other people as I was learning from them in 2005! The problem is a lot of people have re-done or just taken down their older videos.
Im going to keep looking though…I have to think of who I may have been watching then besides KT

I’ve had a one piece pole, and now the Xpole and the xpole BY FAR takes the cake for the BEST pole. I pulled my "solid once piece pole" from the ceiling while I was doing a super fast knee hold. and I’ve had big dudes on my xpole all night long playing on it, doing handsprings and what not and it never waivers.
I would say the biggest test was when I did the splits on the side of the pole in the middle of it and ALL the weight was hanging on one side, it was perfectly fine and felt solid. But i have the new xpert , and i believe the joints in the middle is what makes the difference -
i looked online and saw my first video it was in black and white titled ‘amazing pole dancer’ I saw her doing the Caterpillar and was like NO Fing way! She looked strong but she wasnt SUPER buff and thats when i was like…hummm…maybe i can learn too..?
That is the EXACT same video I saw!!! I think she also did a side climb in that one which also impressed me but not as much as the caterpillar climb.yeah i remember that side climb too, i was like wooow the SIDE of the pole!! lol .
i wonder where she went or what happened to her -
I remember the first time i was impressed was after my husband went to a strip club (against my wishes) and i was mad at him, and he was trying to tell me how "this girl climbed up the pole upside down" thinking he was making stuff up to keep me pre-occupied from being mad at him – https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif i looked online and saw my first video it was in black and white titled ‘amazing pole dancer’ I saw her doing the Caterpillar and was like NO Fing way! I was talking to amy from ‘The Girls Room’ about coming up to dallas sometime at the end of the month. Any other places you all want to suggest? If we did it at the end of the month it wouldnt conflict with the USPDF travelers would it?

I think we should have another Jam! Anyone wanna throw out some dates for March or April?

i just learned this last week, from the time i learned TG handspring it took me about two weeks of practice almost every day except for a day or two off on the weekend too get the lift, it is a KILLER on your shoulders. im double jointed , so i wasnt experience much wrist pain but then my shoulders were popping out of place the next morning and sore. its def a move to take your time on. i really wouldnt rush it bc you can hurt yourself doing it. but i think its extremely quick way to get arm strength. every day i do it a few times i see improvement the next day. but i’m trying to not rush it to much, i guess i get over excited. I really want to be able to do whatever i want with the hold like sarah cretul, but i guess all the daily practice could really pull some thing. I tried it in the middle of the pole instead of on the ground yesterday and herd a pop in my lower shoulder arm https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_eek.gif so im taking today off lol
but anyway u were asking for tips, alot of ppl say, pulling with your top arm and pushing with your bottom arm. which this is true how to start. also try slowing down your TG handspring so you get use to the rotating way of your body. -
Some clips of the February show. They didnt show some of the really good moves i had in there, but its better than not being in the highlight reel at all i suppose! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif
