    Oh my… $740 before we started adding up combinations… $925 after…

I guess growing up in a very open-minded country (the Netherlands) contributed to this? Haha 🙂 And I agree with SkylerWither… lots of great stories that are (almost) never told…

Oh wow, that sounds really intense and painful!! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif

I think you should be careful and maybe ask a dermatologist if this can cause any permanent harm. And if there is something you can do to change the situation. Sorry I can't give any good advice on the matter. Might be that there is someone else on SV with more useful tips!!

    Good luck LillyBilly!!

@ akaneko Add me on facebook if you want to join the ottawa/gatineau pole jam group.

There's 10 girls in there already who are up for fun jams 🙂 The details about that are a few comments up 🙂

There are a few of us who offered to host it at their place. So I guess thats a better option then paying money for it?..

I can make a facebook group, so if you girls would add me as a friend I can add you to the group> Sarah Albert in Old Chelsea… I think it's facebook.com/sarah.alexandra.albert

That way it's easier to organise.

Hope to see you all soon!

    Hi Ladies,

I hope you had a wonderful weekend!
I really enjoyed our previous session! It made me a bit more confident and daring, so the gemini/scorpio is back in my routine. I just ordered mighty grip and iTac2 so hoping they arrive soon, so I can work better on my cold pole.

Is anyone in for another pole jam?

I could host it here, but mind you.. The pole is in my basement (is finished so not spidery crawl space) and that room is pretty cool. So the pool isn't very sticky.. and not high at all. I'm not using any extension on it.. So 92" tall… which makes climps and inverts a bit trickier.. You just have to be creative to pull them off. But there's a lot of space around it. So swinging is no problem.

If you have a better space in mind, I'm totally up for that!

    So who's in?

Nice story, thanks for posting it.

Just too bad the photographer didn't make the best pictures of her. They could've taken a better angle on her gemini to show how impressive it can look from the side.
But ok. Amazing what a passion can do for people 🙂

I'll be bringing some refreshment too. Maybe a tiny light snack so we don't practice with an empty stomach either.

So what time would be best to meet up? I'll let you ladies decide since I will be available at any time.

Looking forward to meeting everyone and have a nice jam session 🙂

Next week sounds good to me! Whatever day is convenient for you. Im available on Tuesdays, so just let me know at what time exactly. I do love cats!!! So no problem there.
Would you like me to bring something?
At home I have a 45mm chrome so I think the 50 will work perfectly. Im sure I will get in to it fast. 🙂

    Hi akene_neko!

Thank you! It sounds like a great idea to me. I would love to have a practice session at your place. Just let me know when and where exactly and I'll come definitely! I know that TreePoles was in for a session too!

And also, I do have a car. So if there would be a jam in Kanata I would have no problem taking you with me. Or other ladies from our area as well for that matter 🙂

Hmmm… not easy when you think about it.

But I definitely love my eyes and hands.

I like how my arms can look toned pretty quickly and my legs look good too. Although I think they could be a bit thinner.

I also love being more curvy!!

I ordered my pole on Mothers day too. And it took about 4 weeks to get to me. I live in Canada, pretty close to where they ship them from (the poles where out of stock for a while). I was getting a bit nervous too, but it ended up here. And now it's installed and ready to go at any time.

I hope your pole will arrive very soon!

    Hi MissFit,
I'm actually member of the meetup. Joined very recently and wasn't able to come to the photoshoot. I'm waiting for another polejam to come up. Would love to meet some more enthousiast.

Amasou, just meeting with other people and having them help you is very helpfull I think. I loved going to Polejams in Amsterdam. Girls that where much better then me helped me with different spins, holds and transitions.
So I can't wait to start doing that over here again.

My only handicap here is that I have very low ceilings. So I can climb, but I'm at the top straight away haha. So I have to be a bit creative while trying inverts.
