i actually thought mine would be charlotte for awhile, but honest to god, as i was drifting off to sleep one night it just came to me, "SaschaPoles" lol, like it’s a sentence and it could be a first/last name thing too. I think the girls on here have a lot of great advice. I think stage names are a sort of escape, like as Taylor I couldn’t dance because I’m too shy and embarrassed and insecure. But Sascha can do anything….it’s weird, like once you pick a name you create a dance personality for yourself and after awhile your stage persona and real life persona merge. Thanks Guys! I’m not sure the exact name of the movie to be honest, it’s a horror flick though- we were laughing in the car because I was asking the other troupe girl what the movie was about, and she was like, "It’s a really BAD horror movie". I asked her to email me the website so when I get it I’ll post it.

The interesting thing was, was that the main character was there, this itty bitty girl who’s posed in playboy *coughwhyidontknowcuzshesnothingspecialcough* and it was so fun hearing her talk because she was SO FULL OF HERSELF. she was talking about signing autographs and posing with fans and stuff, it was just a really interesting experience.

the director must have thought i was super young because he kept calling me darling and treated me more like he would a daughter than a dancer. me and the other girl kept laughing because the poles were SO SLIPPERY and when he was filming we couldn’t remember ONE move to do; we were in those big tall boots, and the thing is is that ive never really worn those boots much before (last night being one of the first times) but overall i did ok https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

i really have a great respect for dancers and strippers now, the guys who were there to watch us treated us like meat, were whistling and making noises, i wondered how many of them had gotten *coughhardcough*….and when i was doing my solo part at the end this group of older guys were like, "ummmmm, can we redo that? i think she needs to redo that so we can see her butt again"

i cant wait to get the footage!!!!!!!!!!!!

thanks guys!!! i definitely didn’t mean to take the spotlight away from angel since this is her thread and stuff but i just wanted to put it out there too i guess. ducky, EVERYTHING you said in your post was exactly what my mom said to me!! you gave such good advice, thank you!! caramel- that’s such good advice too, especially about being selective about who you tell. i definitely need to learn that lesson. i was confused about my grama too, and i asked my mom abotu it and she said that "people are hypocrites, family is no exception. grama likes to control and have power, but really she’s the last one who should be talking". so that made me feel better. really the only person who supports it 100% in my family is my mom. dad and bro swung around my pole a few times but ultimately they think it’s a phase im going through lol. angel your advice was wonderful too! i love how you said that all the support on this site could build a monument- it’s so true! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif i just love you guys!!!!
