i’ll be so good about what i eat all week, than come the weekend it’s like i grow an extra stomach to accomadate extra everything cookies/chips/huge cups of coffee milk ( i think i was born with an extra compartment for pizza)

poles, or do you want me to call you by your real name?? ive been there too- i have the bad habit of comparing myself to everyone better than me and im like, "waah! i’ll never be as good as them!!!" but then i think about how far ive come (exactly like you said) and so you keep pluggin’ away.

i completely agree poles!!!! i love the ‘zone’, there’s a fancy dancy psychology term for what we’re talking about but i can’t remember what it is.
you really have to be aware of your breathing and your body especially when doing more advanced stuff on the pole if your thinking of your bad day ect you could misplace a hand or leg and get hurt

although i’m always going to be a girl who loves pizza and choclate, i do think twice before eating food that isn’t fairly healthy
lol oh not me!!! i eat whatever i want, actually just ate like 7 cookies; i definitely need to start eating better, i bet it’d make a difference with energy and stuff on the pole too -

you’ll get your pole studio one day, no worries https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif i understand what you mean when you say it didnt feel right at the time to strip. i was offered a lot of money once to do a lapdance for this guy i worked with- i was like 18 or 19 i think, but i didnt do it because he wanted me to do things to him that i definitely wasn’t comfortable doing…now i look back and am like- hmmm. maybe i SHOULD have done that lol. i understand about your florist shop story, i wonder the same thing too- like if i danced would it take the fun out of it? but ive been talking to a few girls on this site about that, i love hearing so many different opinions and stuff on it.
LOL! my best friend doesn’t have curly hair, but she’s not a dancer either- so maybe a bunch of us from THIS site could go on a dancing road trip!

im completely into hard rock right now- breaking benjamin, framing hanley, trapt, three days grace, saving abel, stuff like that. i think i cheat though because softer slower music is harder for me to dance to- with rock you can get away with a lot more since the music is so in your face, it works for you whereas with a slower quieter song you have to work more than the music. thats what i think anyways. i love all your guys’ suggestions!! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_bigsmurf.gif

yep, it should be slightly uncomfortable but NEVER painful. theres different types of stretching too- dynamic and static. dynamic is basically a warm up- like in veena’s "warm up video" you do hip circles and wrist circles and stuff like that- gets the blood flowing and your muscles warm. static stretching is just that- you reach for your toes and hold it for 30 seconds for example. what you do on one side do on the other too- dont cheat yourself!! stretching is so worth it.
