Thanks for the replies everyone. Glad you all stuck with it for so long! Makes me remember I won't get tired of it unless I'm always mad at myself.

Yeah there are a ton of red flags here involving this pole. Shoot. I have a hard time trusting the reveiws. I guess I will go to my studio more often until I can get an x-pole.

@Gigi – yeah thats what I was thinking. Im not super experienced yet so something like this could be for me. But I guess I dont want to have to buy another pole a year later. So Idk Ill think about it more. Its cool that you've tried it with no problems though.

Ummmm this is the best thing for all of the above.

I eat the same as I used to (weighed 155 lbs) and go to a studio to pole three times a week. In the last month I've lost ten pounds. WITHOUT CHANGING MY DIET (though for awesome results eat healthy!)

I also feel inspired all of the time. And just happy to have something to think about and work on.

Some people might judge you for it though. Just as a heads up.

@Joel- Why do men do that then? It seems like they must like it for some reason. Theres no way its just to pick on each other.

No my thumb doesnt touch my fingers.

But I guess it just takes some getting used to. Im not sure. I'm going to try it more and see how that works. Noone else seems to have the same problem unless their fingers touch. xD

Seems like it might be an overgrip too? Im not sure what that looks like or how to fix it. But it'd make sense.

First I want to say that its awesome how helpful everyone is on this site. I can really tell you all care about this person's dilema.

I would not be comfortable with mine going to a strip club. I don't think that makes me a bitch and I dont think it makes you a 'bitch wife' for not wanting yours to go. Sex is an intimate thing, and to go to a place where someone is selling sex ruins the point. Men are supposedly visual so watching a pair of boobs bounce around is enough to be intimate.

@Joel Lessing – I'm sure it is funny and less serious than women make it. The problem is, whether its a game or not, it hurts us who care's feelings. Strip clubs are not about modest nudity or embarrassing guys, they're about exploiting the ability a woman has to turn a man on with her body. If mine needs to go to a strip club to have fun its hard to believe hes not there for other reasons as well. Maybe men are not there to get aroused, but I'm sure it happens in the process.

Thanks. I wonder if that means I need to be using a 50.

Woah thanks you guys. I do want to do things on spin because they involve more movement. I am 5'5 with I think average hands.

It seems like most people suggest a 45. Besides it doesnt seem THAT much smaller than a 50. I'll probobly go with the 45. Thanks for your time everyone! Huge help!

Kk most people seem to say 45. I wonder why my instructor seems to insist on a 50. I think Ill wind up ordering the 45 and if it proves difficult I'll just have to get used to it.

Thanks thats the one I'm leaning towards.

It doesn't pinch your thighs/elbows/shoulders more than the 50? If it does is it something you can get used to? Some people say there are holds you just cant do on the 45. Idk how true that is.
