Hi I had one on the top of my left wrist and had it surgically removed when I was 11. I had to have 3 stitches and wasn’t able to use my wrist for a month. I developed one on my right wrist a few years later it would bother me periodically then not at all of months at a time. I never had it removed and it is hardly noticeable now and hasn’t bothered me in years.
Good luck i hoped that helps a little.

Stand in the spot between the wall and where the pole will be then pretend you are grabbing the pole with one hand. Both arms should be fully extended make sure you wouldn’t hit anything as you walk around where the pole would be. That’s the minimum distance I would say. The more the better, kicking something really hurts! 🙁

I just got mine too! I did it a few times before but was so inconsistent… so I made up my mind and started from the floor. Well in doing so I figured out that my hands had to be higher up the pole!(I think because of my hight, i got the idea from watchn Legend’s vids) anyway Yay!

Ya I heard that they coat the pole with some thing to protect it. Not sure if its true just looking for some directions to get the max. grip from a brand new pole.

At my last apt I had wooden beams that were about 6 to 8 inches wide. The X pole was fine, I just made sure that the pole part was centered and there was an equal amount of hang over so to speak.

  • I got into pole because I needed a reason to enjoy the strength training I do with my boyfriend. But I can tell you a bit about over training. Over training happens when you exhaust the muscle(s) and don’t give it enough time to repair its self before you start ripping it up again, when you work a muscle you actually cause small tears and they heal getting you stronger ect. Anyway when you contine to break it down and not allow it to say heal, you actually do more harm then good. Stretching is very important, and as long as your not poling everyday you should be ok. Listen to your body it will tell you what it likes and dosent like. Everyone developes muscle at a different rate it kinda depends on your body type…I hope that helped a bit.

If you use windows there’s usually some thing called Windows movie maker already installed in the computer. Look for it in the start up menu. Its not to hard and if you upload a small clip and play around for a while you’ll get the hang of it! Good luck!

You know its funny I go through time in the year were I so tired all the time. Even if I get alot of sleep, all I want is my bed and more rest. I think some time your body just needs more sleep for one reason or another. Try taking some days off and sleeping as much as possible, that usally helps!
