It's because some people with views like that cannot fathom that other women may be "ok" with pole dancing.

I enjoyed the powder coating, but there are times it burns, lol. About 2 weeks ago I got to try a brass 1 piece pole in a size 45 and fell in love!!! Wednseday my pieces for a brass 45 x-pole should be arriving and can't wait. Plus I want to save up and get a 40 chrome from them too, so I'll have a choice on what to dance on.

Please make sure to call around to different places and get quotes. Shouldn't cost too much to get it done. Here is a link that explains how the process works

MemberJune 24, 2012 at 4:22 pm in reply to: Should I spray LAQUER paint on my Chrome X-Pole?!?I'd say clean your new x-pole with vodka, or everclear or vinegar&water mix. You'll notice how grippy it is after it's been cleaned like that. Granted like Chem mentioned, some of us ladies have had our poles powder coated. I had mine done in march, there's pix on my page.
Also like it was said, it's easier to add more grip than start out with too much and not be able to take away. There is this stuff you can try called corn huskers lotion, and it will help give good grip for some people. You should be able to find it at Walmart, Target and places like that or get it from amazon.com.

I have a 50mm x-pole that I had powder coated, it's alright but wish I had bought a small size pole. Where I'm getting my classes at, they're using 38's and I really suck right now at climbing it. But could wrap myself around it in a pole sit…go figure! So I had already been wanting a smaller sized pole but can't decide on brand and finish. Will brass rip my skin off? I am kinda wanting something that won't keep chunks with it, if I go sliding down etc. Been eyeing the TG 45mm x-pole pieces……hrmmmm? questions, questions https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_mrgreen.gif
