MemberMarch 26, 2013 at 12:15 pm in reply to: Should I get my 45 mm chrome x-pole powder coated?Well once you go there you aren't able to go back. So please make sure it's really what you want to do. But I did have my 50 chrome powder coated last year, along with a few others who've done it (the powder coating). I will admit grip is amazing with my pole since it's been done. Only draw back is you might leave a bit of skin when it's really warm, lol!

This is a link that discusses how the process works. You can also see pix of my pole on my page too.

It's very hard to find sports bra's or pole dance gear in my size at all. My boobs are 40G, so trying to find anything able to fit over them is impossible. None of the pole gear will fit my chest, I have slight hope in Sweet Vixen, but remains to be seen. The sports bra's I do have were bought at Target and still don't cover all of me.

YES! We love that POLE SLEEVES™ can be taken on and off without permanently affecting your pole, but if you are looking for a permanent solution with an amazing grip, http://polesleeves.com/contact-us/ for a quote on making a POLE SLEEVE™ a permanent addition to your pole.

My pc pole was named Dixie since the colour she was coated in was named "Dixie Purple". I don't have a name yet for my brass pole.

What do you mean by regular x-pole? Did you have an older generation of x-pole that was top loading? I have both a 50 and a 45 x-pert and they've never untwisted while using it in spin mode.

Yeah the paperwork I got with my chrome pole had and I still have them adverts for Itac 2. It's the same one you'd see in the first issue of Vertical Art &Fitness which shows Karol,Alethea and Estee. And the first issue of that mag came out in 2011…..

Interesting they changed the formula. I did notice the other day on the X-Pole site that they did not sell the version of Itac I bought when I got my first pole back in Oct 2011. It's the Itac level 4

Ladies I would give your poles more time if you haven't owned them for very long. It doesn't sound like it's had enough time to be conditioned. My brass is still pretty slippery since I've not used it enough to get it good and grippy. I've toyed with the idea of doing the X-Pole how to for shining up your original brass to make it a high shine finish, but then remember I should give it a chance first.
Also if I could go back again and do it all over, I may not have had the chrome PC'ed. I jumped the gun before getting the pole conditioned fairly. Remember they do have a break in period.

MemberDecember 23, 2012 at 12:13 pm in reply to: Powder coating a chrome xpole???The coating hasn't come off my pole and it will be a year in March since it was done. You will have to call around to the different shops in your area that do powder coating and get price quotes. I got mine done for about $65. After you pick a place, you will bring in your pole and explain to them what pieces move and need to be covered up, next you will look at all the colours they have(sometimes they might have to order your colour if it isn't in stock, which will possibly cost extra.) The powder stuff looks like mineral eyeshadow.
