I get sweaty palms a lot so brass suits me GREAT. I slip right off the xpole brass (spray on finish) or chrome, it's just not fun at all. My proper brass new pole is amazing, I never have to wipe my hands or worry about them. Sometimes my legs are a bit slick on the pole, but a bit of Itac4 behind the knees and on the calves helps with that 🙂

Wonder if it makes a difference which side its hooked on. ps – this is the scariest move I've tried YET!! It feels like I won't bend back up in time to get my hands back on the pole, always gives me a heart attack LOL, so use a spotter! (I did, I got hubby to move out of the photo ha ha)

Handsprings and cartwheels are my favorite moves, I've done hundreds! BUT the thought of flipping over like this…. I can't even bear to try it! Is it as scary as it looks?

But obviously a lot of other people swear by them being a great pole brand, including Veena. Why get so defensive and to be honest I don't see them pushing Xpole on this site the way your making it out to be? A product pusher? Hmm okay…

I have ugly stretch marks on the backs of my knees and calves, I have lost 6kg this year and I think maybe hanging off the pole from the backs of my knees a lot maybe stretched them more? Anyway I spray tanned for a night out the other week, put on my dress, admired my newly toned skinny legs, turned around (it was natural daylight coming through the window) and OMG the stretch marks stood out like white lines on a brown road!!! I started crying and felt so helpless and upset, my legs are wrecked 🙁

OMG this thread is just what I needed!! I tend to have pole fart prone days, I can never tell when they will strike but they can be loud! I'm too scared to go to workshops or pole jam with other chicks incase I do one, what can I do? 🙁 I did a Jenyne butterfly workshop and did a small one which no one seemed to hear THANK GOD, but I don't watn to do social pole things cos there's a chance I'll shake up the room with my lady bits trumpet! LOL. IT sucks 🙁

I also can stay up for longer and feel less strain on my arms if I handspring up, weird!
Brass monkey I can only get into from a forearm grip straight edge, or my favorite entry into it is from a shoulder mount 🙂 Make sure you bring that hooked leg across the pole tightly, not pointing the foot down, but across more to lock you on

Hmm mine too it seems! And yep to the side. I did 6 in a row yesterday and no bruising, i never had a soon bruise yet. Maybe that means I’ve definitely found the right spot hehe

Wow permanent knee damage from a knee hold? Thats scary. Luvlee never answered but I'm guessing it must have been the lower knee? My sweet spot is below the groove below the kneecap so hopefully thats safe 🙂
