I’m from Fullerton, Ca which is 5 minutes from Disneyland and I’ve never found a decent pole 🙁
I actually worked at Disneyland and did realize certain poles that would be awesome… But could you imagine a cast member, in costume climbing up a pole?!? Yea, wouldn’t look too good! 😀

I totally agree with the people above. It took me so long to actually finish reading this and when I finally did, I couldn’t even comprehend it lol! So my thought of the studio/instructor- VERY unprofessional. Based on the spelling and grammar alone, I wouldn’t really want to go there.

I think a dancer appreciates watching dance moves. A random person though would be much more impressed with tricks. So it’s a combination of both obviously. I think like 30% dancing and 70% tricks.

I have a weird situation with my boob job. Throughout my teens, I had an A cup and my other boob was nearly a D cup 🙁 BIG difference, so I got an implant to match my other boob. So ones real, ones fake. Weird huh? Anyway, I had a LOT of complications. I bottemed out, had a second surgery and it took 4 1/2 months for the incision to heal. So I couldn’t do anything for nearly 5 months! So I had to start over completely. 🙁
I think though, as soon as your incision fully heals, you’re free to pole. Just be careful and slow lol. Good luck hun!!!

Dang it, I’m not the first to say it. Karol Helms is my favorite dancer!!! I think it’s awesome how graceful she can be and yet so sexy. I wish I could dance with her 😀

I am not a YouTube partner although, I am hoping to one day be one. The money though, not a lot. I believe you get paid everytime clicks on an ad. Then you also have to split the money with google. And i think I remember seeing that you get paid only when you finally reach $100. Just search “YouTube partners” on YouTube or google and it should help you out 🙂

I was trying to copy the list for you but it’s just so hard. It’s too long of a list and it takes a super long time. I’m sorry. There’s a search bar, so if you have a song or artist in mind, let me know and I can search it for you to see if it’s on the list. 😀

MemberFebruary 23, 2011 at 11:17 pm in reply to: how do I make a start on learning the splitsAchieving the splits is very difficult but so sexy and graceful when you finally get it down! 🙂 I could have sworn Veena posted a splits how to on YouTube. If you happen to visit YouTube just type in “splits” and you should find done neat and helpful videos.
The way I learned is a bit painful and requires a lot of patience and commitment. Find a nice long wall. 2 ways to practice here. 1. (less effective) sit down, facing the wall with legs spread open. At this point both feet should be a nice length apart from each other and both touching on opposite ends of the wall. Now comes the hard part. Push! Try pushing your butt closer to the wall while keeping your feet touching the wall. (sorry if that’s difficult to understand)
2. Similar to 1. This time though, find a wall and lay on your belly facing away from the wall. Position each foot on opposite ends on the wall and push yourself back to the wall. If anythings unclear, let me know! I’d be glad to help! 🙂
