Oh I have taken time off pole and am still happy Organic Angel, I just think that pole has brought me to a point of hapiness with my body rather than a state of neutral. 🙂

I am glad you love your body too, I wish I spoke to more people who loved it rather than hearing about people hating it..

SilverRae, you are suitable for a relationship. Both my boyfriend and I have sports as our passions and we both work full time and different hours. My boyfriend supports me in my pole and I him in his MMA. We don’t spend loads of time together but make sure the time we do spend together is just for us!
Relationships require work to make them work but they shouldn’t be hard work! Also, they should support you in something that makes you healthy and happy!
If you love them and pole you will want to share time between the two. If all you want to do is spend time on your pole then he/she probably isn’t the right person…IMO.
Life is too short to be with someone who does not support you in something that will keep you healthy and make you happy!

I read a few of these posts not all so I am making a sweeping statement. It sounds like these are not men but boys, little boys throwing a tantrum.
When little boys throw tantrums , apparently good parenting is to ignore the bad behaviour and praise the good. Ignore them, stop pandering to their tantrums and they should get bored and shut the hell up! If not get rid…. Lol!!
    Insecure babies!!!!
    Rant!!

Well I just recently got my regular grip handspring so improving that would be good and any progression from an elbow grip Ayesha or straight edge would be great. Anything really 🙂 my had splits need to be flatter, my Allegra needs improving… The list is endless lol!

With my instructor a 1 hour private 1-2-1 is £20, with a more advanced instructor I think it’s £25. I’m about to do a workshop with Sarah Scott and that’s £38 inc room hire in a group class.
It seems a lot more expensive to pole in the US!
