iPhone and I believe Android Market carries it as well, has an app named PocketPole. I find it useful if I have a hard time executing a move. PocketPole has videos but not a huge library of moves.
Wikipole is my preference of the two b/c I can always find a new move to work on when I'm ready. 🙂

When I started reading this thread I thought for certain it was going to be the topic I’ve been thinking about and had some trouble, not much, but some with certain moves being more difficult for me. I’m 5"7′ and weight 120lbs. And have no torso. In fact, I had my friend take the measurements. My legs are twice as long as my torso! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_eek.gif I took ballet for many years and wasn’t allowed to play sports for fear of it "beefing" up my legs so I don’t have that…..

I’ve only taken one so far. Amber Richard held one at the school I attend. I was really excited to do so and came away with lots of things to work on. She is patient and so, so nice! I loved it and if she’s coming back anytime soon to my area I would most definitely take her workshop AGAIN! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_sunny.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif

Thank you so much! I knew the Goo Gone was oil based but thought just water would clean it off. Which is retrospect makes no sense at all. Thanks again! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

I normally always shower just before class and just didn’t apply lotion. I’ve since found a product that works well for hydrating my legs and allowing me to keep my grip. It’s called Satin Care in shower Moisturizer. It’s made by Gillette. It at times, can be difficult to find. Not all drug stores carry it.

I just bought a slightly used Lil Mynx pole (black). The girl I bought it from had it wrapped in something and there were tape "stickies" on it. I used Goo Gone to clean it and am having trouble gripping with my thighs. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_scratch.gif I did clean it afterwards with water but think it must need something else. I’m considering mild soap and water then wiping it down with alcohol. Anyone have any other suggestions in case that doesn’t work?

Thank you! And I’m looking forward to subscribing to your video lessons as soon as I’m comfortable in my "studio" space. I plan to take your lessons and continue with my weekly classes. My goal is to start competing. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_thumleft.gif
