I have vaulted ceilings in my mobile home. I cut a round peice of plywood that my dome covers and prevents slippage. For the vaulted ceiling I added two wedges under that and the whole thing screws into studs in my ceiling. If the pole ever does come loose that sucker’s not gonna fall down!

My only issue with my Xpert is that I wish I had gotten the chrome instead of TG. I love the style of the pole. It’s soooo easy to take apart to move. That is if you actually take it apart and don’t do like me and try to move an 8 foot pole in a tiny car and bust out the window. No as far as the pole itself. XPert is def. the way to go.

I have the same problem but with my TG. I love the style of my XPert but I hate the TG. I wish I had ordered another chrome. So now I’ve got this really cool pole that I hardly use. If you lived closer I’d gladly swap. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_surprised.gif

I’m 39 years old and mother of three. Those kids just sucked the life outta my cha cha’s. And to top it off I don’t have alot in that department. I’d love to see a cute top made that flatter’s flatter chested ladies that aren’t so perfect on top.

Like Veena my TG started getting grippy yet slick after about a month. Once I quit cleaning it with glass cleaner and swapped to alcohol it stopped. Lovin it agian. I’ll be honest though. If I had it to do all over agian I would probably have bought another chrome. I think it really just depends on what you like.

I got my 50mm TG a couple of months ago. I loved it when I first got it. Never had problems with it being slick. I don’t know why but over the last couple of weeks. It seems more slick than my chrome. (humidity has been up) I usually just clean with glass cleaner. It feels like it’s got build up on it. Like a light slick film. Should I be cleaning with something else?

Oh I may have spoken too soon. I got ahold of our local handyman and he’s gonna fix my roof for next to nothing so…. Looks like I may make it after all! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

I am so sad. After last nights winds (gusts up to 60 mph) We lost shingles right down to the wood on the house and the whole ridge cap is gone now. Looks like I may be spending my money I was saving for the trip on a roof! I suppose I should look at the bright side. Because I was saving for the jam, I have the cash for the roof. But still…. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cry.gif

I think it really just depends on who your teaching. Out of the girls I have, I have one that wants to learn the "sexy" side just to put a little something together for hubby. The rest want to focus more on strength building.

I just started teaching myself. Week one with the girls I started them off with a stretch and warmed them up. Then I taught them some basic spins and then put them into a mini routine. Then at the end of class we did a deep stretch. All 5 girls said they could barely walk the next day! The next week, more spins, sit on the pole review all moves add too routine. And so forth. So far so good. Good luck.

Anytime in June would be fine for me. Count me in. Just let me know the exact date. My son and girlfriend are moving there so I’m seeing lots of trips to Dallas in my future. If ya’ll are interested. And I know it’s really really early but Lara (thatlarawoman) from youtube is going to be coming all the way from the UK to my house Sept. 21 I know she’d love to go to a Texas Pole Jam. I’ve got her for a week so I want to cram as much as I can into that week!

https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif I carry my cell phone with me when I go workout. That way if I fall and "can’t get up" If I can just make it to the cell phone…. For mats I use the old mattresses (spelling) from my kids beds. They work great.
