Oh and the one I rented before was also from the studio I go to. If I bought one there it would be the same kind of pole. They’re made by that studio. Xpose Fitness.

The metal beams aren’t exposed. I only found out that they were metal because my husband tried to drill a hole into the cieling for the Flirty Girl pole and found that he couldn’t because there was metal instead of wood. I haven’t used the tension based pole in this apartment, it was in my previous house. But it worked fine there.
I think I’m going to go with the X pole.
Does it sound like it would work?
I’m ready to press the button…..LOL

I think you just get used to it, although I don’t think the pole I use is as fast as normal ones because It’s so old. Every once and a while they readjust the screws and oil it, and I nearly go flying! I think learning on spinny is a lot easier than than learning on static and trying to swap to spin mode, because you just slowly get better and slowly start going faster, so it’s not a sudden thing. I love going fast!I only ever get dizzy when I twirl in little circles (kind of like pirouttes) around the outside of the pole. Maybe it’s because I’m dancing in a huge room instead of in a small one – I think if the walls were closer it would be worse.
What kind of place do you work at? Are you a professional dancer?

I just ordered my pole for my 27th birthday (which was March 26th), and now I have to wait until the end of the month for the 50 mm titianum poles to come in. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_rambo.gif I don’t know how I’m going to survive the next couple of weeks! I’ve known I was going to get one since January and now after all my saving, I have to wait longer! Jesus, help me! I’m going to go crazy waiting on this thing!

I have been buying pole after pole all month and having issue after issue. My husband is putting up the cash and buying me a good one this Thursdsay so I’m waiting….and waiting….and waiting…..just like you. Just be patient. I was going to serve drinks and I knew I was going to partake of the beverages. I told my friends "Do Not let me get on that pole after I’ve been drinking"…what’d they do?
Let me get on it. And I had just learned the Gemini too…so I decided I show it off.
