You have like 2 total opposites finishes that you’re working with. Brass tends to be the grippiest of finishes and stainless steel tends to be the slipperyest (in my experience https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif ). Have you had your pole very long? I think stainless steel poles get better after they’ve been broken in some. But your Lil Minx will probably never be as grippy as the brass pole though so you’re probably just going to have to get used to it. I have a chrome xpole and it’s seems to be in the middle of the road as far as slipperyness.
When I’m brass I stick super good (sometimes too good LOL) and when I’m on stainless steel I’m a slippery mess https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif . The chrome is kind of in the middle, just right.

Um, yeah maybe not so free for Greece. LOL

Do not let the kid discourage you. They’re always better than us LOL. Both of my little ones can invert and my son (who’s 6) had a Reverse Grab before me! LOL
Pushups are awesome and I always encourage adding weight training into your routine because it’s a great way to build strength but one of the tried and true best ways to get stronger for pole is to keep poling. As you practice more you’ll get stronger and your grip will get better. When I first got my pole I couldn’t hold on to save my life. I think it’s like that for most beginners. -
Your idea sounds cool. I wish I knew of some articles to help you out but I don’t https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif

Yeah, deefinitely to each their own.
’cause I think the Teddy is the hottest thang EVER.
And I don’t want anyone to stop doing incredible strength iguana mounts just on account of me being angry that their ass disappears once their head ducks down too far.
And if you even ATTEMPT to be self conscious about your glorious stripperisms, Sissy, I am going on the muthawhatm warpath. WARPATH. That means the road straight to your home so I can shake your ass for you.
Yes ma’am!

And Polergirl I was just kidding about not doing choppers anymore. If we all took this thread personally I’m sure some of us would lose half of our repertoire. LOL It’s cool to hear everyones outlook on different moves. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_thumleft.gif

Good answer Amcut. I didn’t even think about the fact that you don’t have a pole at home. You have to leave to pole. Poling at home might help. Sometimes I multitasking and pole and cook dinner or pole and bathe kids lol.
And why are men so against counselers???? I had to do something drastic to get my husband to go. And by drastic I mean move out. Lmao!

He never wants to. LOL
I pole in a room upstairs and he generally spends most of his time downstairs in the the livingroom so he’d have to go out of his way to come watch me and he’s not really interested in pole so he rarely does. Sometimes he’ll pop in to talk to me but that’s it.

Hi
I have the same problem just with my hands, I have x pole and I have tried Harpix, Calcium ( like gymnists use ), hairspray actually works best for me.. I have a strong grip and have been training and teaching 3 months but sometimes I just cant hang on for the spins,I was competing the other day and I could not do my tricks on their poles, very frustrating………. what other tips do you girls have? Is there any "magic stuff" we can use to help? https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif
Polar Ice
Have you tried grip aides like Dry hands or Tite grip or Mighty Grip? I don’t use grip aides for spins, only inverted split grips actually, but if you have extremely sweaty hands it might help…
