Its funny I read this now because I was just sayin in chat lastnight that I think I’m pole-be-dex-strous (spell check). Not because I can do everything on both sides , because I can’t, but because some things I do better on one side and som things better on the other side.
For example…..at first I considered my left arm my "strong" arm, even though I’m right handed. I did all my spins better on the left. But….when I invert and do things like butterfly I usually use my right hand as the "strong" hand and m left as my bracket. When I got the cartwheel I got it on both sides with neither side being better then the other. I’m just all over the place so I have to try and practice on both sides as much a I can. Which is the point here. LOL Use both sides anyway. You never know, you may be better on one side for certain things.

I don’t know Charley. That’s a good question.
I’m excited for the x-stage light. I got to see them at the convention and when I need a stage, that’s going to be the one I get https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif

Hi Mune,
I wrote you (or your hubby, not sure which one it was LOL) back about when you should expect the pole to arrive. You should def have it before USPDF. Speaking of which…..I’ll be there (hopefully *fingers crossed*) maybe I’ll get to meet you and you can tell me in person how awesome I am https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif .LOL Just kidding…..well….not really……..

Hello all,
First of all I want to apologize to you or anyone else that has had troubles getting in contact with myself regarding House of Pole orders. I run House of Pole on my own and have been in a major transition in my personal life that has taken up more time than I have to spare. I won’t get into specific details here but I’m working on getting caught up with everything and bringing some help onboard so my customers don’t have to wait so long to hear answers. Please resend your email (mailto:christina@houseofpole.net) regarding your extension and I’ll look into it for you. Thanks!

It all depends on what look you’re going for. You can wear anything you want as long as it allows you to do the moves you want to do.
I mostly see (as stated above) bedazzled shorts and sports bras or bikini tops. Sometimes super sweet ass monokinis.
Sometimes shoes, sometimes not. It all depends.

I’m glad to see you guys were able to talk about it and come up with a good compromise. Let us know how it goes.

This is what I sent… feel free to copy and paste.
To Whomever It May Concern,
My name is Danielle Cain, and I am an avid pole fitness athlete and dancer. I would like to reference order number 0010544613 for Christopher Brand. I do not agree with the treatment of this order, or the treatment of Christopher Brand through customer service over the phone. I do not appreciate that the equipment pictured in the silhouette image was repeatedly referred to as a ‘stripper pole’, despite correction. To many in our sport, this is called a ‘dance pole’, and when corrected, it is respectful that the correction be taken note of.
The woman that was to receive these custom ordered M&M’s is a pole fitness instructor and professional athlete. Pole dance is her full-time job and passion. There are hundreds of women and men in the world that share the very same passion for this dance form. The image in question is a silhouette of a very advanced move that takes great skill, agility, balance, and strength to accomplish. To demean this image by calling it unsightly for children or too provocative to be printed is an insult, not only to her, but to the pole fitness community.
I, for one, am horribly disappointed in your company. Perhaps, before you make assumptions, you should do some research in order to make a truly informed decision. This is a beautiful image of an athlete that you should be proud to print on your candies, especially for a professional athlete’s birthday gift. You should be ashamed of yourselves. I will not be using your service in the future, nor will I recommend your company to others.
Well… I feel better now, lol.
I will take you up on the offer to copy and paste. You said it much better thn I ever could!

I definately will, Charley! Although it will take me some time to quit getting motion sick from just pirouetting and swooping too much on static! LOL https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_puke_r.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_puke_l.gif
I was the same way. I used to hate spin, but once I was able to tolerate it….I must say it’s grown on me a lot! It’s fun and makes stuff look so cool!

I love dancing on brass. I just might have to consider one for my third pole when they become available. sissy while you are emailing them check on the status of the vaulted ceiling adapters please https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif
Sure thing honey!

It’s worth it to me though LOL. I love me some brass.
I take it, SissyBuns, that you dance/have danced on brass?
I have. They have brass poles at Xpose (the studio I used to go to occasionally) and I have a brass PS pole that I haven’t been able to put up yet.
I love brass but…..I wouldn’t want it as my only pole. Once it gets warmed up my spins slow down and it gets a little too grippy for some things. When I’m able to create my new pole space I’ll have my brass and my chrome up and go back and forth between the two.

You might wanna look into the lessons here. I have the lessons set up in order of difficulty and I also include strength training and stretches to help prevent injury. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif
I was just about to say that LOL.
Don’t ever feel like you "should" be able to do anything because we’re all different. I’ve been poling well over a year and still don’t have a knee hold or a cross ankle release. LMAO! I know. It’s sad. But we all learn things at different rates and have different strengths and weaknesses. It’s always a good idea to slow down and review moves in their order of difficulty, starting from the beginning when you feel lost.

Chemgodess – I was always intrigued by that name because when I was a teenager I was a raver and the thing to do at Raves was ecstacy and everyone would always say "know your chemist" to refer to knowing where you got the drugs from, when in reality the person we were buying it from didn’t know the chemist, and I’m willing to bet that the person he bought it from didn’t know the chemist!! Wow, the stupid things teenagers do makes me really happy that I am not a teenager anymore!!
Yeah, but I am the geeky lab rat type of chemist.
This is the best picture ever!
