I wear wigs, my hair is very thin and I ended up having to cut it real short and I really missed my long hair so I started wearing wigs veenas advice is spot on I wear them a lot now on and off the pole a good wig cap will also keep the wig on lots of practice like flip it a bout try it on spin upside down will tell you whether you need to add bands or Bobby pins etc..

  • Same mine reached 6% then stopped

  • I’m having the same prob… I have the 5 and it takes too long to upload I dunno why..

I have just started week 2 of the 30 day challenge of back is the new black, I’m finding the core exercises tough I can not do them all yet but I’m loving it so far the stretches are really deep for the shoulders which is brill if you pole a lot. My back flex is awful lol as you can see… I can’t back bend very well. It will be great to see if there’s an improvement.

Just reading all the replies in here makes me miss studio veena I’m not here as much as I used to be, but when I do log in I always find its a lot more positive than attending a studio. I’m in a love hate relationship with studios sometimes I have good days there and some not so, so I find my self only attending the studio one to 2 terms a year. It helps me balance my pole training and sometimes I need spotted and a mirror and some extra space,it can be difficult training with other women who have issues when I also have issues, it can be quite intense and sometimes a personality clash, but that’s my personal experiences. I do my best not to compare but I’m human and it gets me down now and again. But at home I’m only worried about my progress and what I want to achieve. It’s really great that we can share progress here I love seeing everyone’s videos and cheering you all on. I never really believe I’m not doing my best, because slow progress is good for the body it gives you time to grow and look at the details. I’m a slow learner I accept this but can feel my self get stronger by the month. 💜 hope this helps a bit.

Awesome Veena I have always lived by these rules when training after I had a serious injury, I was lucky and glad I bounced back from, so training carefully now and enjoying the journey. I’m a slow learner but it definitely is not a bad thing I find I progress better and with out injuries 💕☺️😍 train safe everyone 👌🏻✌🏻

Magnesium salts for your bath or supplements will help, keep it elevated, get some anti inflammatory cream for muscles on it too and make an appointment to see a physiotherapist. I had a tear in mine too and I know how sore it can be get well soon.

I get dizzy too from hair whips and spinning upside down on spin pole too much I took a headache last time I did a combo upside down on spin a couple of times.. Don’t really know why either.

Been a while since I posted in here, it’s a great place! I think I go through the same thing I have a fear of some new moves especially elbow grip ayesha it’s a real nemesis of mine and I’m determined to get it I keep picturing my self doing it lol I know it will come at some point so I’m working on strength training my entire body and stretching at the mo not worrying too much about new tricks but perfecting the ones I can do at the mo. Not sure if that helps but it’s what works for me. When your feeling alone on your pole journey studio Veena is the best place to come for company and lessons too. ❤️😊
