I asked this a few weeks ago to Bendy Kate when she was in the Netherlands 🙂 I actually was asking for a flag to true grip handspring, because I think that one's cooler 😀 She told me to slide the bottom hand down, and in this video of Oona I also clearly see the bottom hand sliding down http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U-kRaR8yfqg a at 0.52, maybe that would help you?

My bag:
– 3 bottles of dry hands since I always seem to lose/forget them somewhere 😛
– wristband in case I do handstands on the ground, that's kind of heavy for my wrist
– water
– stuff to clean the pole, since my skin doesn't like the amonia they use at my studio
– the COSMO because I have to travel 2,5 hours to the location where I teach & train
– Ski socks…yeah I know they look stupid but they keep your legs warm perfectly <3
– music 🙂
– camera & a gorillapod, I love the gorillapod since I can twist it around the pole and film myself :))))
– pole journal with my pole wishes 🙂
– handcream for my hands after training
– Most of the time I already wear my pole clothes when I travel to location! 😀

I have been poling for about a year and 7 months I think, and competing since 3 months. I started with lessons once a week, then I went quickly to 2 lessons a week. After a few months I began to give workshops for bachelorparties and stuff for the school I had lessons with. Then a few months later I became a teacher 🙂 I met some wonderful people along my way. I love pole so much! 🙂
