OMG that was an amazing story!!!! I instinctively cuddled all my babies to my chest….I hated when the hospital (with the first 2) made me give them up, to do all the new born tests https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cry.gif I loooved my home births because they didn’t rush my babies away…they can do many of the new born tests as you cuddle! That is such a great story. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif
I had an emergency C section with my daughter and I didn’t get to hold her until an HOUR after she was born, It makes me so upset to even think about it. They showed her to me really quick and took her away. I agree home births would be great for those first bonding moments https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

I am glad all of you enjoyed this just as much as I did.
After reading that made me want to go get my Daughter out of bed just to snuggle her.
My little girl will be 1 next month and it’s unreal to me, I can’t believe it! I’m so blessed I get to be a stay at home mommy and watch her grow day by day. So this thread I posted made me deffentily cherish every moment with her. -
Thank you! I can’t wait to save up 300 for an Xpole. Maybe my apartment just has horrible ceilings and floors? lol.
But I guess no more poleing for me for awhile. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cry.gif -

I’ll have to try with my hands up a little high when I am standing I have been positioning them fairly low about shoulder level maybe?…. I just heard the higher you have them the higher you will need to kick and lift your legs. So I started low… But I will try that. Thank you for the advice everyone! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

I was just writting a reply when my computer decided to restart on me, So I will try to remember what I had wrote.
First off, Thank you everyone for the tips. I bought Veena’s lessons the other day and I have been practicing on the floor like she says and I have gotten the leg positioning down that way but when I go into an Invert my legs automatically go the wrong way lol. I think I need to build more streghth cause once I am inverted I can’t pull my hips up. I also am not jumping into the invert I know I am pulling with my abs cause right now I feel like I’ve done a million crunches https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif
I will just have to work on building some more core stenghth I guess as of now before I try anything inverted. I know I’ve made a lot of progress since the beginning, before there is no way I would have been able to atempt pulling myself into an invert https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

LOL! That video gave me a good laugh! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif I’ve heard the term before but never the song so even better! Thanks for that post. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif

Great idea, haha a nice warm bath sounds nice. I think I’m just a little to determined right now. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_redface.gif
I think I better take a rest for a couple days! -
After reading about what she had said to keep my shoulders engaged, I went upstairs and practiced that and making sure my shoulders were back and it seemed to work out a little smoother and I found it easier to move my arms without feeling awkward! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_razz.gif
-
Thank you! I’ll have to remember that. Cause once I get up there I think okay now what?! haha I will just keep practicing it and work up the courage to try something with it besides sliding down haha. When I first started I tryed doing the invert and I was jumping but now I am actually using my core so it goes to show I am building more strenghth and I don’t feel the need to jump. =)

Thank you very much, I didn’t even think about measuring it when I took it down. Mine is probably a 50.. If I bought a 45mm X pole after using a 50 would it be a big differance or not? What would you reccomend?
My pole has never fell either but it’s slowly pushing it’s self into the ceiling and everyime I use it I get more nervous about it! I am afriad it will come crashing down any day! When I do spins it loosens and flakes from my ceiling fall! I am also renting https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_confused.gif
Question about the X pole, Since it does not require any bolt/screws or mounts and it’s held by tension will it eventully push itself into the ceiling as well? Or has your X pole been good for you?

Thank you very much for the advice! I will have to get on that pole tonight and practice practice practice! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_bounce.gif
I’ll be getting your lessons tomarrow and I am so excited to use them! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif
