I have not had those exact shoes you posted, but I’ve had similar ones w/ the glitter on top and just like everyone has said, the glitter does wear off after a while. Even just wearing them as regular shoes (no pole involved) the glitter stills wears off! =/
I know you said you don’t want shoes that tall/with that thin of a heel, but these are kind of similar?

On the homepage, when you’re logged in, you see in the right top corner "Welcome Spinderells". Next to that click on "My Profile". On that profile page, choose "Edit Profile". And on that page you should be able to change your settings.

One thing I noticed is that when it comes to my wrist position starting on static it adjusts during the spin as my hand moves around the pole, where the spinning mode does not allow my hand to move an the position of my wrist doesn’t change. I’m back on strictly static.
Agreed. This is why I am not good with spin mode! If my hand doesn’t move position while I’m spinning, I get stuck midway through, and can’t position myself to "land" the trick.. if that makes sense?

I think the taller the shoe, the easier they are to walk/dance in. It’s weird! I have never found a pair of 6" heels that are comfortable. But ALL of my 8" shoes and boots are extremely comfortable!
I have never tripped off of 8" heels, either. I think they make the taller shoes more sturdy. Plus, I think the taller the heel, the taller they make the platform. So the 8" heels have a taller front platform ratio when compared to the shorter heeled shoes.
So it feels like you’re not walking in heels when you’re in the tall shoes (even though you’re teetering precariously on a thin stick almost a foot above the ground)
I think the brand VIVID makes the most comfortable tall shoes. I have a pair of 8" Vivid shoes and they are so comfortable, they’re better than the Converse I wear everyday! The sole is very cushiony and they even have a cushion for the toes to keep your toes from sliding out the front and looking funny.

This is so cool!! And ironic.. I was on my morning jog today when I had to take a detour into a kid’s soccer field to see if I could climb the pole that was randomly sticking out of the ground.

In this instance I would suggest a little talc on your hands. I have callouses on my hands from my powder coated but I have just learned to adjust my grip differently. I have ripped some skin though on my legs https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_eek.gif
OMG! Ouch!! I was wondering about powder coated poles.. Now I won’t get one!
