Thanks all!
Btw, Symonesal, currently I only see it’s pole, is there going to be aerial hoop in future?

@emotion: when someone is saying she likes this, she is NOT asking for you to AGREE EITHER. It seems some members here tend to “criticise” freely on things posted elsewhere than if it were posted here on SV, just an observation.

Interesting vids! (ps: I don’t comment much here, but in recent times, I see in this forum whenever a person post saying what she likes, there bound to be someone else saying she disagrees or doesn’t like it. The point is no one is asking for your opinion, and you might end up offending someone. AND you might never know the person eg doing the Harry Potter vid is a member of this forum)

Honestly, criticism is a tricky thing. The reaction that one can get might range from either – appreciate if you give constructive feedback, or feel embarrassed when they receive one, or some might even feel hurt and offended. Those in the hurt & offended category might be those who thought they had done a superb job and did not expect getting criticism (regardless constructive or non-constructive).
That being said, I usually would give feedback (of course constructive one!) to people I know very well and close with. Because you know what might be their reaction, how well they receive your comments/feedback and their appreciation for it.
And for strangers or people that I'm not too close with, I would rather give feedback and advice if the person is asking for it. At least you know the person is prepared to receive it and it does not come out as a shock to him or her.

But I was confused because in the dvd, she did not mention about "use your back leg to kick off the pole slightly to push yourself". Jamilla always instructs lifting up, not kicking or jumping.
I agree having a solid invert from the ground (meaning lifting — no jumping, no hopping, no kicking) is an important foundation in order to achieve a good aerial invert.
