Ok I'm glad I found this. I'm working on my allegra and I was starting to think maybe my arms weren't long enough(I'm 5'2 with a prayer so being too small for things isen't new to me)https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif I was going into gemini then half jade and for the life of me I just couldn't get my arm to reach and grab the pole. After reading this I'm not twisting my hips to face away from the pole. Now my brain  gets that but my body is rebelling. At what point do your turn your hips away. Half jade then turn and grab? Stupid question but I'm struggling with why can't figure this one out.

@MelanieDA rigging it to the pole is a great idea! I use mine with the door and I live in fear of someone opening the door and me bouncing my head off the wall. LOL

@ Sair It's very worth it and really not that expensive. I found mine on ebay and paid $20 and $10 for shipping.

@Shacko I hear ya about time. I work stupid hours and hate stretching on the floor in the traditional way so this has been a blessing. I hook it up to the door and stretch while I read, or watch tv. Thanks for posting about ithttps://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif

@kat pole princess if you're looking for great ab excercises and are like me and get bored of doing the same workouts check out Kristy Wilson on youtube. She's a cirque du soleil performer and her workouts are amazing. I've been doing the advance core workout for the last month every night and I've noticed a difference in my toning as well as a lot of the tricks I've been working on.

Ok so I'm gonna answer my own questionhttps://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif I bought the maxiflex and absolutely love it. It's easy to use and wow does it make a difference. I've only been using it for a week but notice a huge difference already. I actually look forward to stretching now. Don't get me wrong it hurts like hell but once you get relax into it eases up and you can see your progress. Ankle get ready to meet ear https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

Hey Ladies I coldn't resist putting my two cents in on this one. Please be careful using chemicals to clean your pole. I attended a work related workshop on chemicals and poisons and was amazed how many of these things are in our household cleaning products. Vinegar is a natural cleaning agent and I've started using this to clean my pole instead of Windex. It's a great general household cleaner too. It's actually not too bad either at making the pole less slippery. It may smell a lil funky but it's better for your health.https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif

No I'm actually self taught…lol or I should say youtube taught. I don't have many pole studios in my area and the one we have out here is super expensive. I decided to buy an xpole and teach myself. I have a history in gymnastics and yoga so figured I could do it. It's been hard but I'm happy with what I've accomplished so farhttps://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

There is a website for it. I did a google search on "maxiflex" and "reviews on maxiflex" as well as I watched the link above on youtube. If you're looking to purchase one I found it at a good price on ebay.

Hello my fellow Canadians! I feel your pain but I stumbled across a great alternative….believe it or not but the best deals I have found on shoes, boots and sexy pole gear is ebay.ca! I bought 7inch Vivid heels which were listed as $84 on sale on the Vivid site on ebay for $15 brand new and the shipping was $10. Now that's a deal! Happy shopping( :
