I would love to come: My only thing is I have no idea how to get to Brampton from downtown Toronto! (I don’t drive). I’ll see if any one of my friends with a car wants to go too, otherwise not sure how i can make it.
sounds super fun tho! Hope I can be there!

I think everyone has said what needs to be said though, and brought up the important points!!
Once you’ve asked/answered those questions I wouldn’t stress about it!I would also ask, is this a party or a performance? because there might be a huge difference in how one would feel watching a bunch of women dance for fun without regulations or anything on an amateur level, and watching a performance or a competition done professionally.
definitely talk to your husband, good and honest communication is the most important thing in the relationships we have with people and with God.

Hey Thanks for turning me on to the other thread, thats exactly the problem I’m having….

WOW this is EXACTLY the problem I’m having now with my PS brass pole. I thought I was going crazy. I’ve never had this problem before with a brass pole or my TG xpole.
But you must be right about the humidity and condensation.
In canada it is SOSO dry in the winter in doors and so cold also..but the forced air makes everything dry so I have a humidifier and I’m thinking thats why. I always turn it off when i use the pole but that didnt seem to help so I guess it must be the cold pole/warm hands thing….
its really annoying tho.Did you find any solutions to this Stephanie? or are u still struggling with it? lol makes it so frustrating to practice!!!

Hi guys! Thanks for the warm welcome!
Wow Its nice to know that theres actually quite a few of you out there lol https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif so nice to meet you!
A pole jam in may sounds really cool.
Also, if you’re looking to do silks, I go to Cirque-Ability in Toronto, Heather Kentner is an Awsome Instructor!
Lets definitly build a pole community in Toronto!

Hey Fleur,
We met in NYC last march don’t know if you remember https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif
But I hear you, I am single this Valentines day for the first time in 5 Years. in fact, this Valentines would have been our 6 year anniversary https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif I miss him terribly and am still in love with him so its hard…but i need time for myself now.
So my plan is to go see Wolfman with some single girlfriends, and eat lots of brownies lol…simple guilty pleasures.
And I will probably pole dance for myself this time!Whats most important is to remember that you’re loved!
xox
