I seen the same video too!. That’s ridiculous. I also bought my first video with my pole and it has the Teddy as part of the beginner routine as well
Too much stuff that’s inappropriate for beginners out there. Funny thing is I kept trying to do it because it was considered beginner, so I thought I should be able to do it then. Thank. God I came across Veena’s lessons and if I’m not mistaken the Teddy is under advanced. Oh yeah thanks Veena I can do the Teddy now lol

12 ft ceilings at the house I’m renting. I’m 5’11” so I like the tall ceilings, otherwise if I put on my 7″ heels I would just stand there and bump my head doing pole climbs lol on 8 ft ceilings. I’m moving back home next month and I believe my ceilings are 10 -11′ I just have to face putting up a ceiling mount since I have vaulted ceilings.

I’m moving back to my house in Greenville next month. I have vaulted ceilings and have the xpert xpole. I will need to get a ceiling mount, since I have the dome right now. So will I still be able to switch from static to spin? Where can 8 purchase the ceiling mount from? I’ve been trying to get online with xpole, but I’m having issues getting connected.

For whatever it’s worth, I started poling in December at age 49 and could not for the life of me do a pull up! I followed all of Veena’s lessons without ever going to a studio (which by the way are so informative and detailed) I’m not working on intermediate moves and have gained so much upper body strength. This is a great place to start, so don’t hold off what you can start doing today. Welcome to the best pole site ever.

This will be my way of venting tomorrow. A little drag boat racing should get me in a better mood. I think I’m going to start poling in the mornings, perhaps that will help out a lot.

I’m 5’11” and have 7 1\2 pleasers….. I love them! I’m only an intermediate level at best, but they are very comfortable. I haven’t tried to invert in them yet….for some reason that’s a little scary for me right now. I’m glad I got them, so I say be happy you’re tall, celebrate and have fun being even taller!

I like that…great ideas. That’s what I want….feedback to improve. So arch my back more, arms parallel to the floor and pushing out more with my hands….I will be working on that and repost later. Thanks for the advice and compliments. I feel very encouraged today.

I can say I feel frustration lately as well. Some things I’ve learned seem to be a little willy nilly. I pretty much have all the beginner moves down, a good bit of the intermediate and a few advanced moves. I struggle trying to put things together, do a few advanced moves and yet struggle with a few intermediate moves. I’m assuming it’s my strength in certain moves. I’ve been working on perfecting what I already know to make it prettier (pointing my toes, arching my back ect) but sometimes it feels like I don’t know anything. I can invert at times and others not at all. Does it come to a point it all just starts coming together? I feel like I’ve reached a point that I’m just floundering. I have a private instructor that I think can help me with transition moves I just started working with every 2 weeks, but I think I !may outgrow her later. She isn’t familar with some of the moves terms, like the jade, but perhaps we’ll become polo buddies later. She seemed very interested in this site and very impressed. She thought I can help her with some pole parties and beginner classes ad well, so I guess I’m doing okay….I just don’t really know. I’ll take any advice I can get from you all. I know I just wrote s book on here…. Sorry. If my spelling is horrible…. I can’t find my damn reading glasses lol.

I totally agree 100% with you! This is the most informative sight you could ask for. I was just wanting a little hands on in person for some feedback. The girl was good and I think she can help me work on some transition moves and stretching for splits. I bragged about thus site and she is going to do the trial and maybe join as well. I’ll be working with her twice a month. PS she was very impressed with all that I have learned on my own thanks to Veena’s site.

Just like it is now Veena, except a new lesson under each category each day. That way if I’m a beginner ( which I am and sneak on the intermediate too) I can see something specific for me each day. Does that make sense? I don’t know if that’s too much work for you all or not, but I know I would love to see something like that.
