I was always petite and then I met my new friend….menopause, so I guess that makes me a big boobed menopausal giraffe. Hmmmm that doesn’t sound good at all, but hey my bra fits!!! Lmao

Trust me, the boobs are more of a pain in the back and in the way on the pole too. If it makes you feel better picture this….big boobs, giraffe legs and I was looking at some teaser shoes, well putting on those puppies puts me at 6’4″…. I could try out for a football team or stand behind a fence in the zoo next to the giraffes!

I work for Whole Foods Market. They have a lot of vegan foods and you can go to their website for recipes too. Hope this helps.

MemberFebruary 28, 2015 at 3:32 pm in reply to: Tops and tips for Big boobs- a resource postI’m in on this too! 32DDD or 32F. I chave to wear big tops leaving huge arm pits hanging and doing the chicken lol. I would love to find pole wear I can practice in that fits without paying an arm and a leg for. I’m 5’11’ and have legs like a giraffe and struggle finding pants. A girl should only have to fight one battle. Clothes shopping….I’m a mess and always hear how nice it must be to be tall. Long legs and big boobs……wrong it’s not nice! I really appreciate the info, so now I have a few other places to look….thanks!!!!! Oh and I gave up on VS too. They don’t know how to size and do not cater to big boobs or tall women, and yet they have models advertising their goods….custom made I’m sure.

Yes I notice I could be up more too. That was my first time, so I think I had a little more improvement since that picture, not to mention my boobs pouring out everywhere. So can you tell me a rough time line for progression as to where someone should be? I thought I was progressing average to slow. I’m clueless as to my progress for the time I’ve been practicing. I take more interest in the acrobatic side rather than the dance and floor moves. I don’t know if that’s the wrong way to approach it or not. I know everyone is different and has different preferences. I was heavy in to gymnastics as a kid and thus why I find the acrobatics so appealing. I must say I LOVE your site. It is the most informative sight bar none and all the ladies here are so very very supportive of each other, making it safe and comfortable to share.

Please go easy on me I was upsidedown for some time waiting for the boyfriend to take the picture lmao.

Oh wow really…. I thought I was a slow progresor because I’m old, lol. I didn’t know that is considered quick. I can add a photo of my invert and feel free to critique it. I’m very sure I could use a lot of work to perfect it, but it was my fist try photo. I’m going to take your advice on more strength training. I’ve been working on the 30 day challenge and pole hold for building strength.

I’ve been poling since November. I already did the invert a couple weeks prior to this. I try to do new things just a couple of times during practice, unty it becomes easier. I always warm up and usually only practice about 45 minutes every couple days.

Hi Shadow! I’m so sorry to hear you are going through a really tough time. Dealing with any kind of loss takes time to heal. You have faced more than one and you need to be good to YOU. It’s a process that has no time limit. I want to share a poem with you……The most authentic thing about us is our capacity to create, to endure, to transform, to love and to be greater than our suffering……I think of it when times get tough and is hard to get back up. You will get through this and you will grow and transform from it, like a beautiful butterfly emerging from a cacoon. Focus on you right now and what you need. Depression is a huge hurdle to get through and sometimes we all need help so don’t be afraid to ask for it. That pole and all the rest of your dreams will still be waiting for you when you start feeling good again. Keep your chin up sweetie it will get better a little by little each day and you will be a much stronger and wiser woman from it. Take care!

Thanks Veena. I love your instructions very detailed. Your site is the best!! I have your site and seeing Gretta Pontarelli as great motivation. Hopefully I will be back on my pole soon.

Thank you silkymiami that was so sweet. I struggle trying to figure out if I’m working on the right thing. I think the 30 day challenge will be a good starting place. I’ve only practiced about a dozen times so if I have the pole sit, teddy (barely) and basic spins and so so on the climb…is that good?

I’m new to this whole thing and I’m 49? I have my own pole and try to practice every couple of days. Any advice or suggestions would be great.
