In short – yes!
I was off training for a couple of months and got stuck into a depression rut. I started training again about 3 weeks ago and it’s been helping no end. (I’ve been dealing with depression on and off for about 5 years).
For me, dancing, moving and stretching help me feel ‘alive’ in my body. I need that to stave of the depression.

Ah, the body is quite weird. I need to learn to be consistant on both sides.
There’s another thing I should have remembered as I we were only trying it a few weeks ago – brass monkey to scorpio – Sasha K does eros to scorpio at 2:03 in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aejSeV6xpsc
The trick I remember was twisting round and putting your armpit on the pole, holding on sneakily with your hand then doing the leg switch.

Brass monkey is my nemisis move, but I’ve seen some great transitions out of it.
One is to put both hands behind and go into pencil/lunchbox. The other similar one is to go into marksman.
I’ve also seen people go back into forearm grip, or lower into flag.
