I'm 3 weeks late but… HELLO! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif
I just thought I'd stop by and say thank you all, for your kind words, It never really enters my mind that I've inspired so many people to pole, until I read something such as this thread.
Hopefully I will post some more video's to my YT account soon, some practice would be good first because I can't even shoulder mount anymore and it used to feel so easy! very frustrating! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_evil.gif
See you all soon xxx

Awww you guys, your all so sweet!
I’m doing alright, have had some up’s and downs last year – An up was going away on holiday with the OH to Greece, down was panic disorder come back with vengeance!!
Not a qualified teacher, maybe I’ll try my best this year 🙂
Currently on the waiting list for another round of cbt (cognitive behavioral therapy) which I’m looking forward too and treating it as a positive thing.
Not been on the pole for a very long time due to space in the house and the cold weather outside, but I’ve been surfing YT and my few FB friends watching all you girls and guys In envy lol,
Hope your all well and having a blast on the pole!!

after posting this I actually read an older post about V hurting herself, I guess i’m just excited to pole again and wanna get a new move down, maybe the tg isn’t the best move to go with… I’m sure i’ll come up with something. SO excted about having a real go on the 45mm though https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif
Might have to beg if i can record a video, even if it’s 30 secs long – it’s something! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif -

Welcome, nice to meet you!
I’m down in Colchester Essex https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif -
I tested putting up my xpole in my new house (also very tough on damages ect) and it was fine, no marks, no loss of paint on the ceiling, the only thing that happened was a small dent in the carpet which dissapeared in a day https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif shame there was lack of space where it was put https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cry.gif

I was talking to someone lastnight with the x-stage and they brought up the weight issue too, i mean it’d be fine if i had a room to set it up and leave it in… but i don’t, it needs to be put up and taken down. It sounds HUUUUGE!
Clearly it’s expensive and i need to make sure i can justify spending that amout of money, AND make sure i can use it with ease, i wouldn’t leave any part of it outside cause i’m too worried it’d go rusty or something.
I don’t even wanna think about how much yours come too gsylass it makes me go https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_surprised.gif your video’s are great! you guy’s are so lucky having 3 poles! it’s like a playground https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif -

How? i mean…. HOW!? some of that stuff shouldn’t even be possible https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_eek.gif !!!

It’s such a bugger to work out, and i can’t justify spending a large sum of money on a pole that i might hate, i wonder if theres alot of woman or men with the pole, i’ll have to look that up and see what info i can gather, see if anyone got the pole with a 38mm and another size,
I’m from essex, colchester – i think alot of people think i’m in america as theres a colchester over there too https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif -
Yeah garden one, although i might wanna take it places, the zoo, ice skating ect… lol just kiddin
I just watched a vid on youtube and i dunno, i felt "iffy" after seeing it and reading the comments, i understand that it wouldn’t be on the market unless it was safe, and that makes me feel better but still – the poles like 38mm, apparently it’s safer to use a 38mm because of strains on the bones and muscles in the wrists, i know you can get 50mm and 45mm, however i think if i atempted cross ankle i’d just fall off, i have no meat on my legs to hold me up on a 38mm lol! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif
It all comes in at quite a high price when you add it up,
I can’t see how it stays up personally, it’s a mind boggle https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_eek.gif
here’s the vid http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dIUHuzS_9is
