Thanks again all of you. I’ve already linked up with another couple of Irish Polers through this site and I’m hoping to have the pleasure of meeting minicoopergrl next year!!!

Thanks Trena you’ve made me blush https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_redface.gif That’s a real compliment coming from you. One of the things I love about this site is the encouragement and positivity you all give to each other.
Am really glad I finally plucked up the courage to introduce myself.

A couple of tips I’ve found useful. Invest in a set of hand grips to help you build up your grip strength. I’ve been using these for about a month now and have found them great. Sorry, no tips for improving thigh grip except keep clenching https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif Kangaroo skin cycling gloves are also brilliant (apologies to any vegan/vegetarians out there).
You can use Vaseline Essential Care moisturiser (yellow/cream) bottle up to 4 hours before a pole class and it doesn’t leave a residue.
Good luck.
